      Description

      Performance Polyurethane Construction. Rack and pinion systems rely on bushings to absorb vibrations from steering joints and prevent metal from rubbing together, which leads to friction and additional problems. Unfortunately, rubber OEM bushings tend to wear quickly and crumble under intense pressure, which leads to a loss of handling and the above issues. These Mustang Rack and Pinion Bushings feature performance polyurethane construction that doesn’t crumble or degrade under pressure and last up to 5x longer than standard rubber OEM bushings. In addition, polyurethane bushings provide better dampening absorption and unencumbered side-to-side movement between your steering rack to improve handling beyond its factory function. 

      Reduce Excessive Steering Play and Clunking. Symptoms of worn rubber bushings include excessive steering wheel play and clunking/clicking noises while turning. These bushings alleviate these problems by absorbing dampening effectively and resisting wear that leads to ineffective steering control and handling. 

      Discreet Black Finish. Enjoy a discreet black appearance that perfectly blends in with any suspension system. In addition, you can also choose a sporty red color that provides a bold accent to any aftermarket suspension system. 

      Two-Year Limited Warranty. A 2-year limited warranty backs this product against manufacturing defects but does not cover wear caused by normal use. 

      Application. The Mustang Steer Tie Rod is compatible with all 1985-2004 Ford Mustang models.
