Description
High-Performance Race Intercooler. The Fathouse Performance Race Intercooler is engineered for exceptional cooling efficiency in race applications. Supporting over 1200 horsepower, it is ideal for high-boost setups and designed to significantly reduce intake air temperatures, improving power output and engine reliability under extreme conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a thick 4.5-inch core constructed from durable TIG-welded aluminum, this intercooler ensures high strength and optimal heat dissipation. The matte textured finish offers corrosion resistance while maintaining a sleek, race-ready look suitable for aggressive front bumper mounting.
Installation. The intercooler comes with universal weld-on mounting bungs to simplify bracket attachment. Custom mounting brackets are required, and welding skills along with appropriate tools are needed to fabricate these brackets. No drilling is required to secure the intercooler to the fabricated mounting brackets.
Application. Designed specifically for 1994 through 2014 Mustang models, this intercooler fits within the front bumper area and accommodates a wide range of builds including SN95, New Edge, and S197 chassis Mustangs, with no generation exclusions within this range.
