20:1 Manual Steering. Converting to a Flaming River 20 to 1 manual rack and pinion steering system will give you more responsive steering allowing you to feel all of the road, while retain the full factory turning radius of your OE steering system.
Loose Weight. By installing a manual steering rack in place of the stock unit you will eliminate the power rack, pump, pulley and rag joint for a total vehicle weight reduction of more than 30 lbs. and every racer knows weight is the enemy. As an added bonus you gain horsepower by reducing parasitic drag.
