Enhances Speed but Maintains Mustang’s Drive-Ability. The Ford Performance 427 CI 535HP Boss Crate Engine with Rear Sump Oil Pan is the perfect 500+ horsepower engine for your Ford Mustang project. It boasts the same power as its 427 FE engine counterpart, but it’s made in a reliable small block package. Due to its lighter weight, it won’t undermine your Mustang’s speed and performance. Plus, it’s engineered with Ford Performance’s “Z2” cylinder heads, so you’ll be able to retain your Mustang’s stock exhaust and accessory mounting locations.

Generates Better Horsepower and Torque. Even though the 427 CI is follows a 351 based small block Ford engine design, it still produces a higher horsepower than the Ford Mustang’s stock engine. Additionally, this product is categorized as a crate engine, so it’ll be shipped to you fully assembled.

A High-Quality Engine from Ford Performance. You can rest assured that the 427 CI will deliver increased horsepower for a good long time. Since it’s built with aluminum “Z2” cylinder heads, forged Mahle® pistons with floating wrist pin, and a SCAT® forged steel crankshaft, it can keep up with your driving lifestyle.
