How to Install Ford Performance Rear Seat Installation Kit on your Mustang

1. Remove the 3 fasteners from panel then remove panel.

Loadspace Trim Panel – Coupe
Removal
NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.

2. Position the door weather-strip aside.

3. Release the clips and remove the scuff plate trim panel.

4. Position the safety belt guide off to the side, release the clips and remove the loadspace trim panel.

NOTE: During installation, make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

5. NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.
On both sides. Release the clips, disconnect the seat belt tether clip and remove the D-pillar trim panel.

6. Remove the pin-type retainers and the parcel shelf.

Installation
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Installation
7. Install the safety belt retainer. Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

8. Install the retainers and the safety belt retractor.

Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

Installation
9. Install bolt into the safety belt buckle and the Rear Seat Cushion bracket. (Both sides) Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

NOTE: During installation, make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.

NOTE: LH seat shown, RH seat similar.
10. Install the fastener (Stud) and the pivot hinge. Do not install seat at this time. Torque: 35 lb.ft (47.5 Nm)

11. Install package tray strikers.(RH and LH side)
Torque: 35 lb.ft (47.5 Nm)

12. Reinstall all trim panels previous removed.
13. Install rear seat backrest.
14. Install the fastener attaching the seat backrest to the floor. Torque: 35 lb.ft (47.5 Nm)

15. Install lower seat cushion.
