Built with heavy-duty components, this transmission includes double molybdenum steel gears for 2nd speed, 3rd speed, and countershaft cluster gears, carbon fiber blocker rings for smooth shifting between 3rd and 4th gears, and a steel input bearing retainer for added strength. Its robust design features a 1-1/16 inch diameter 10-spline input shaft and a 28-spline output shaft, ensuring reliability under high stress. Additional enhancements include improved synchronizers and bearings and a Cobra-style pocket bearing.

Installation. Installation is straightforward as the transmission fits directly into 1979 to 1993 Mustang V8 models with no drilling required, allowing for a bolt-in upgrade that maximizes ease and convenience.
