Description
Maximum Traction. If you need the most traction out of both sides of your drive wheels then you need those wheels to receive power and spin in unison. By removing spider gears in your rear end and replacing them with G2 Mini Spool - 31 Spline 8.8 in. you ensure that both drive wheels will be spinning all of the time. Mini spools are economical and durable and a great choice for low to medium horsepower situations where the most traction possible is needed.
Excellent Build Quality. Forged from 8620 steel for the best strength possible, the G2 Mini Spool - 31 Spline 8.8 in. is also a 31 spline unit that give the most connection and distribution of force over the entire unit for increased strength and a better transmission of power to the drive wheels.
Installation Notes. Installing the mini spool is requires knowledge of your differential, spider gears and halfshafts. The installation must be done correctly otherwise the result could be extensive damage rather than better traction. You should be comfortable working on the rear-end of your Mustang and have the proper tools and equipment. If you are not comfortable nor have the proper tools and equipment it is recommended that you take this part to a professional to have it installed.
