Description
High-Performance Flexplate. The Hays Steel SFI Certified Flexplate is engineered for high-performance and competition applications with Ford Modular V8 engines. It delivers superior durability to handle increased torque and RPM from upgraded torque converters and engines, ensuring reliable transmission connection and optimal performance under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Made from thicker-than-stock steel, this flexplate includes a securely welded ring gear and is zinc dichromate plated for improved corrosion resistance. The design supports internal engine balancing and meets the rigorous SFI 29.1 certification standard for racing, providing both strength and longevity.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling or modification. It is designed to fit vehicles with an 8-bolt crankshaft pattern for direct OEM-fit replacement.
Warranty. This product includes a manufacturer's 90-day warranty covering defects and workmanship.
Application. Specifically fits 1996–2019 V8 Mustang models equipped with compatible Ford Modular engines.
