  • Lowers Center of Gravity
  • Progressive Spring Rate
  • Estimated Drop: Front - 1.7”, Rear - 2.4”
  • Fits 2011-2014 Mustangs, excludes GT500
Improves Handling. The most popular progressive rate spring in H&R's line-up, Super Sport Springs will lower your Mustangs center of gravity, to reduce squat during acceleration, body roll in the corners, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. Sport Springs feature more control than that of the factory springs, but are still comfortable enough for daily driving and occasional track use.

Aggressive Stance. The H&R Super Sport Springs not only improve the handling of your S197 Mustang, but they also improve the overall appearance by lowering the ride height approximately 1.7" in the front and 2.4" in the rear to eliminate that nasty raised 4x4 truck look for a more aggressive muscle car stance.

Application. This set of four H&R Super Sport Springs are designed specifically for use on the 2011-2014 Coupe and Convertible Mustangs, including the V6 and GT models. Does not fit the Shelby GT500.

1 Top Rated Question

Can a jack or ramps still be used with this ride height for home/basic work? Primarily I guess I just want to be sure that I will be able to still work on the car. I now use Rhino ramps or a hydraulic jack. Would they still fit?

  • You will need a low-profile Jack, but yes you can. If you're referring to the old-school red steel drive up ramps the answer is no. I work on my own car always, I use a lift ,it is no issue either.

    Awesome Stance

I was fortunate enough to get these springs as a Christmas gift. I have had my eye on them for a while and they did exactly what I was hoping for. I had my local shop install them (for free thanks to my brother-in-law mechanic) and when I pulled back in to the lot to pick her up I could not stop smiling. I am not sure that I saw the full drop expected but it still looks wonderful. She sits very even and low. You can really feel the difference around the corners. Ride becomes a little more bumpy but well worth it. Added Eibach camber bolts for good measure and was able to get her aligned with ease.

    Great Springs

These springs are great! They lower your car to a "stanced" look exspecially with a set of 20" wheels! If you're contemplating purchasing this product, stop worrying and order! You will not regret it!

    The perfect amount of drop.

I installed these with Koni Sports all the way around and the result was absolutely perfect. If you like your wheels to fill up the wheelwell these springs lower the car right where you want it. A lot of people out there are hesitant to use these springs because they think the drop will be too dramatic for back roads driving or things like speed bumps. I drive through corn fields to work every day and I have to drive over rickety railroad tracks and sharp speed bumps once I get there and I have never bottomed out the car. If you are on the fence about these springs, get them. I guarantee you won't regret it!

    Perfect look

As others have already said, these springs have the perfect drop. I was skeptical before buying these thinking the drop would not be worth it but oh was I wrong! I thought the car looked good before but now I would never go back. Yes, it sits a little lower but its not scraping the ground everywhere you go. You do need to be a little more careful sometimes, but overall, totally worth it

WOW !!! What A Difference, 2014 Sittin Pretty

Everything is perfect, ride is a bit bumpy,,,well what do you expect?? The front could be a little lower as a few have mentioned... for under 300.00 and done in an afternoon you cant beat it !!!! I did it the old fashion way,, no power tools and a harbor freight compressor,,, which worked perfectly !!!! 12.99 5 hours after turning that spring comp 4 times ,,,still not bad for hand tools,,, I know I could do it in 2.5 in a shop :) Also on line instruction's were spot on !!!! All in with compressor was 272.98.... COMEONE MAN !!!

    Perfect Spring

These springs on boss struts/shocks sit perfect. No noises, no problems. The ride and look is such and improvement from stock and the stance is really agressive. If you are scared of the 1.7 & 2.4 numbers, dont be. I almost passed them up cause I though I would scrape EVERYTHING. The only down-fall is I have to hand wash cause I cant go through auto carwashes. I went with camber plates to avoid noise and alignment issues.

    AGGRESSIVELY LOWERED.....

The springs from H&R Lowered my car to a level 27" from ground to fender well, both front and back. Looks amazing, rides firm. My tires are 27" tall so it takes all the wheel gap out. I recommend this product if you are willing to change out your struts and shocks as I did.

    Great!!!

Seems to be the lowest you can go without coil overs or bags! i love the ride, and have had many people tell me its one of the best riding lowered cars they've ever ridden in. Gives just the right amount of wheel gap and overall makes the car look 100 times better! The best mod you can do to your car is defiantly to lower it.

    Almost Perfect

Look Great!! but I say the lower the better. If you don't want a very low Stang don't buy these. If you do than these H&R's are for you. I love the stance, some have said need to be lower in the front, but I disagree my fenders now sit right on top of the tires even all around. I think there is a optical Illusion in the front due to the tall hood on 2013 Mustang. Handles much better over stock, "Turn In " is much more responsive, and corner hold is easier. Not to much bounce, however can be a little rough on the highway. I do suggest adding Adjustable Sway Bar Links, and Camber Correction. I did not get any noise from Upper Strut Mounts yet, but Im sure I will. Overall Great Product From H&R, and NOBODY beats AM's Price, trust me I looked. Also super fast FREE Shipping.

    WORTH IT

these springs were exactly what I was looking for. lowered the car and filled in the wheel gap. install was fairly simple took us an afternoon but we really only did about 2 hours of work with breaks (distractions) in between. I had never messed with suspension on any car and I was able to do the install fairly simple. FYI when taking off front springs from the strut take care with the strut mounts and make sure you hold the two pieces together or the ball bearings will bounce all over your driveway. learned my lesson the hard way and took more care on the other side. if your not hard headed and read the instructions it tells you about this. handling is improved and can handle the 5.0 power a lot better over stock. overall good product and good stance

    Killer Stance

gave my stang the aggressive stance i was looking for. The body roll is non-exsistent now.The ride is firm but not harsh. You will need a adjustable panhard bar to recenter the rear enddue to the drop,i also recommend lower control arm brackets to restore the geometry and travel.

drastically changed the look and ride of my 12 gt. seems stiffer , like a sports car should. i would recommend an adjustable panhard bar to get the rear back straight.

    Springs

I installed the springs about a week ago. the install was simple and took me and my friend a little over 2 hours for all four. the back two springs are really quick. Make sure to disconnect the front brake lines when lowering your rotor so you dont put any tension on them. The drop looks really nice. 10000 times better than the stock look. looks really good in the back with the 305 tire. hopefully the springs will continue to compress and lower the front just a little more then it will be perfect. over all great bang for the buck. suspension is also really stiff, you can really feel every bump now too haha, its a really sporty feel which i happen to like.

    Great product, looks amazing!

My 11 gt/cs ride quality was effected but not terribly so. After installation I took it to get it aligned and was told I did not need to buy the adjustable panhard so the alignment went great. Makes the car take corners with ease and with little body roll. I have a semisteep drive way and have not bottomed out either so if your worried about that its not that low. Great product semi decent price would do it all over again
