    Description

    Get Clear Audio Without the Popping Sound. Using aftermarket radios with OEM amplifiers may result in an annoying “popping” noise from your speakers. The cause is the typical 12 Volt power source that is too much for the OEM amplifier. What you need is the Interface Step Down to dial back the voltage from 12V to 5V. The amplifier is able to handle this lower voltage, virtually eliminating that annoying pop from your stereo and making your Mustang ride more enjoyable.

    Durable Wire Harness. The Interface Step Down consists of a 3-wire harness that connects to the radio, amplifier, and ground. You don’t have to worry about the quality of the wiring, as each wire is thick enough to ensure a long-lasting service life.

    Wiring Instructions. First, you need to connect the Blue/White Wire to your new aftermarket radio power wire. Next, the black wire connects to the chassis ground. Finally, the Blue/Red wire connects to the Mustang’s amplifier power wire. For best results, make sure you read the instructions that come with this Interface Step Down.

    Application. The Interface Step Down fits 2015-2018 Ford Mustang models with 8-inch screens.
