    Features & Details

    • More Robust and Strong
    • Stiffer Than Stock
    • Adjustable
    • Wide Range of Adjustment
    • Fits 1999-2004 IRS Equipped Cobra Mustangs
Robust Replacement. Say goodbye to the weak link of your IRS and replacement your rear tie rods with a set of Maximum Motorsports Aluminum Tie Rods. Not only are these tie rods much more robust and strong, they are adjustable to help you really fine-tune your Cobra's suspension.

Quality Construction. This Maximum Motorsports IRS Tie Rod Kit has been crafted from high quality aluminum. They are significantly stiffer than the stock counterparts, which will prevent your tie rods from becoming deformed and prematurely failing as a result of hard launches and daily abuse.

Adjustable. In addition to being stronger than stock, this Tie Rod Kit also has the ability to adjust bumpsteer. Rear bumpsteer in your 4V Cobra has more impact on steering than front bumpsteer due to the IRS system. Even slight changes in toe can cause your rear tires to start steering the car. Upgrading to this kit will allow you to adjust the height of your inner tie rod pivot as well as adjust the outer tie rod ends to fine-tune your Mustang's handling characteristics.

Application. The Maximum Motorsports IRS Tie Rod Kit is specifically designed for the 1999-2004 IRS equipped Cobra Mustangs.

Don't think about it, just order them.

OEM part is Obsolete from Ford. This kit is very well made and the design is improved miles ahead of the original.

            Keep bump steer in check.

Needed if you want a good bump curve on a lowered Cobra IRS!

            Great Product

I have had these installed on my car for some time now and have noticed a huge improvement in bump steer. My factory tie rods were bent very badly after just a few modifications to the car, and these were a great upgrade.

            Great addition to my Cobra

I picked this up as my factory links had gone bad. Installation was much easier than anticipated as it didn't require the removal or even dropping of the IRS. The piece is very well made. My main tip is to make sure that you center both knuckles when installing it to make sure their is enough clearance once you have your alignment done. If you don't do this it can hit the lower section of your knuckle.

            MMC IRS tie rods

I ordered these tie rods because I found out that my 2003 Mach 1 had the rear suspension swapped with the Cobra independent rear suspension, What a happy surprise ! When I took them to my mechanic and he installed them he said that they were much better than the original equipment ones, specially since I found out that Ford does not make them anymore !
