    Review & Installation Video

So if you have a high horsepower '96 to '04 V8 powered Mustang and you're looking to eliminate some of the flex and twist caused by a rubber or poly motor mount, then it might be time to consider stepping into a solid set of motor mounts like the options we have here from Maximum Motorsports. Now, this kit will completely replace both the passenger and driver side mounts with a rugged steel mount for around that $80 price point. Install will get a soft three out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter here from me and a few hours from start to finish depending on your setup. All right, gang, so first things first here. These mounts are not going to be recommended for the mild setups or daily drivers out there as there is some vibration to be expected when eliminating the rubber or poly mounts in your ride in favor of a solid steel option like this. And, while I will say it's not nearly as bad as a lot of people might think, it certainly is still noticeable. So if you're worried about the excess NVH or noise vibration and harshness, you might want to consider going to a stronger poly bushing instead first before trying out a solid mount like this.On the other hand, if you've tried those poly bushings before and you keep having issues or you're just simply overpowering the bushings, then the solid mount is the way to roll. Now, by eliminating the softer link between the chassis and the engine, owners can expect less twisting and deflection which will give the car a more responsive feel overall, help those manual cars get into gear a little bit easier, and will ultimately help get every last bit of power down to the ground instead of wasting it through that deflection or twisting. Now the mounts themselves are actually built like a tank and include very burly 3/16-inch plate steel throughout, fully welded, and then finished off in this kind of flat or textured black powder coat. It should be noted that Maximum Motorsports does state that these mounts can be used with both stock and aftermarket K-members and can also be used with a Coyote swap as well if that's something you're entertaining with your SN95. As far as the installation goes, well, it does require you to lift and support the engine ever so slightly in order to swap out the mounts themselves. So because of that, the site did kick this one up to a full three out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter here, I'd say a soft three out of three at that and a few hours from start to finish depending on your setup. So in closing here, guys, if you're tired of breaking those stock rubber or even aftermarket poly mounts in your SN95, the solid options from Maximum Motorsports would be a solid choice and you can grab yours right here at

      No Flex!!

Absolutely love these! Fit was perfect with 1 5/8” Mac Longtubes. I was on the fence with getting these cause I heard a lot of “don’t buy these if your car is a daily” well my car isn’t a daily but if it was you’d get used to it really quick. I only notice a bit more vibration in my car from around 2,800 to 3,700 rpm. But I don’t regret the decision to go with it. Trans shift effort is noticeably smoother, and with cams you can actually feel it idle. Which in my opinion is pretty badass. If you’re on the fence like I was, hop on over to this side and go for it. You won’t regret it. I’m still running stock K member and fitment lined right up.

You can feel more of the raw power, litterly. Car shakes with the cams that I have installed but they do what they say and have held great! They also didn't break the bank!

Install is not bad with a engine hoist. The quality for the price is super good. 10/10 would recommend. I’m happy that I bought it

      MM Solid Mounts

Mounts are very well built. Install is not bad with a engine hoist. NVH increase is barely noticeable if it increased at all.

      Solid Motor mounts

Used on coyote swapped sn95. Doesn’t work with original 2014 starter, I had to use ford performance mini starter. High quality and heavy duty.

Nothing puts the power to the ground like these solid motor mounts. Easy install. Great to finally have. I also have the tubular front end conversion. Makes a big difference with both.

Daily Driver Use Are the vibrations from the motor unbearable with solid mounts? Would they be really annoying in a daily driver?

    • I've had these on my car for about a month now and I absolutely love them! The increased engine vibration was actually less than I expected but I wouldn't recommend this product for the casual daily driver.
