HOW TO INSTALL AN MMD CHIN SPOILER (2005-2009 GT)

Turn the tires toward the opposite side of the car and remove the (2) phillips lower bumper screws, repeat this on the opposite side. Clean the bumper in front of the lower grill with the supplied alochol pad.

Pull up 2” of red 3M backing and fold them as shown; so they can be accessed from the front after installation. (The chin spoiler is shown upside down in the photo)

Install a screw through the top hole of the chin spoiler into the bumper and place the front of the chin spoiler over the front of the lower bumper, then move to the opposite side of the car.

It is recommended that you have an additional person available to help during this installation, parts can be awkward to hold and support by yourself. Block wheels and set parking brake before beginning work.

Lift the upper tab over the back of the bumper and slide the chin spoiler into place. Reinstall the (4) stock scews removed in step 1.

Make sure the chin spoiler is placed correctly and carefully pull the red 3M flags, until all the tape backing is removed, to expose the adhesive, then press the spoiler onto the bumper.
