Designed to complement the clean classic lines of your convertible, this Styling Bar is ideal for cruising around town with the top down. If nasty weather should show its ugly face, this MMD Styling Bar fits neatly under your ragtop. As an added bonus, this Convertible Styling Bar also helps stiffen your Mustang chassis to reduce body flex.

      Superior Quality. Constructed from tubular steel for strength, this MMD Styling Bar achieves its shape with molded foam and is wrapped in a durable, weather resistant urethane vinyl. The dark charcoal vinyl features the same textured grain pattern as your Mustang's original interior panels for a perfect visual match.

      No Welding Required. Installation of this MMD Convertible Styling Bar can be completed in a few hours, in the comfort of your own driveway with basic hand tools and light mechanical skills. No welding is required during the installation process. Simply bolt the bar to the B pillar for secure mounting.

        Mdd light bar

        I have now installed three of these and the fit too the interior panel is not acceptable...I have come up with a solution Bought a half inch black rubber door edge guard with a small lip on one edge installed between interior panel and light bar...Looks very good just takes a little time....Last one I bought was open box $200 discount..It was very good no instructions or template but pretty straight forward..Had to come up with two bolts lol

        Must have for a convertible

        this was such a great buy. it didn’t take much time to install, i had just replaced the rear speakers a week earlier so i already knew what i was getting myself into. once i finished, it definitely help change the look of the car with the top down. i would recommend this to anyone with a convertible. great product AM!!

        Looks great, fits well.

        It's a very easy install. It looks awesome, and is very solid. Installation tip: lay across the bar and hop a little to get it down in the brackets. It's extremely tight fitting.

        Love the looks.

        Throw away the template. It's not exactly on. Was at least 1/2 inch out. Shave excess foam off bottom for a tight flat fit. Once completed, the look is great.

      had the style bar installed however it does not sit flat like the ones pictured. the front of the bar sits on the cover nearest the door and goes upward from there. Thought maybe it was install backwards reversed it and still no joy. George W. Rausch

      Can? Or how do passengers get in rear seat?

      • Yes passengers can get into the back seat. The light bar has about the same clearance as a hard top car.

      do you have to cut the back panel to install the bar . is there instruction provided in the kit. do you have to remove the back seats also to get access. and finally any drilling needed

      • The install will be pretty straight forward and will not require any cutting or welding. Just bolt the bar to the B pillar. Instructions will be included with this part.

      Hi,is there an adaptor that we can use to cover the poor fitment of the styling bar? they should provided one because the gap is not acceptable.
