How to Install MMD Rear Diffuser on your Mustang

Ensure the rear valance is washed and free of dirt. Wipe the tape contact points on the bumper with the supplied alcohol wipe, followed by the supplied adhesion promoter. **Note: A clean surface is essential for proper adhesion.

With the backing tape still installed, center the diffuser on the rear bumper. Line up the lower diffuser mounting tabs. Mark the center of each mounting hole.

Drill a 23/64” holes through the bumper to secure the diffuser using the nylon push pin. Push pin fit very tight. **Note: You may need to jack the rear of the car up to have enough space for the drill.

Remove backing tape and press in nylon push pins. Lay diffuser onto paint, carefully lining everything up with the reverse light. Apply firm even pressure on all tape ledges to ensure proper adhesion.
