      Description

      Premium Street‑Track Strength. The Ford 8.80‑Inch C‑Clip Axles are designed to replace and upgrade factory Mustang GT and GT500 rear axles. These axles provide increased torsional strength and fatigue resistance, making them ideal for both spirited street use and track duty. Mustang owners will appreciate the rugged durability and OEM‑style fitment.

      Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from modified 1550 premium steel, these axles undergo precision machining prior to induction heat‑treating to Rc 62, then finish‑machined for exact tolerances. They feature dual 4.50″ bolt circles, a clean machined steel finish, and accommodate OEM hardware including reluctor rings.

      Installation. Direct‑bolt replacement for factory axles; includes reluctor‑ring adapter pressed on. Requires typical axle‑shaft removal involving differential drop and bearing/seal service—moderate difficulty. No frame or housing modifications needed, and drilling is not required.

      Application. This Ford 8.80‑Inch C‑Clip Axles (31‑Spline) fits 2005‑2010 Ford Mustang GT and GT500 and 2011‑2014 Mustang models.
