      Description

      Important Part. This Fuel Vapor Pressure Sensor is used in internal combustion engines whether it's gasoline or diesel to measure fuel vapor pressure. The FVPS is made up of a piezoelectric crystal that generates an electrical signal when it is subjected to specific sound frequencies. The engine control unit receives this increased electrical signal.

      Reading with Precision. The ECU uses the data from the Fuel Vapor Pressure Sensor to calculate the vapor pressure of the fuel, which may be used to modify the air/fuel mixture and avoid engine knock. This sensor is an essential component of any gasoline or diesel engine, since it may increase performance and fuel economy.
