This system utilizes a discreet receiver that mounts behind the grille, allowing the license plate shaft to thread in only when needed. It is the perfect solution for owners in front-plate states who want to maintain the pristine look of their S550’s front fascia while staying compliant with local laws.
Engineered for Standard Fascia Aerodynamics. Unlike Performance Pack models which have different splitter depths, this kit is specifically calibrated for the geometry of the standard GT, EcoBoost, and V6 front bumpers. The shaft length and receiver position are optimized to ensure the plate sits at the correct distance from the bumper to prevent whistling or contact with the paint. By utilizing the offset mounting position, the holder ensures that the main air intake for the radiator and the EcoBoost intercooler remains unobstructed, preserving factory cooling performance.
