Description
Accurate Sensor Bracket. The MAP/BAP Sensor Bracket securely mounts the manifold absolute pressure and barometric pressure sensors to the firewall, ensuring accurate sensor positioning and reliable data transmission to the PCM. Proper mounting is essential to maintaining engine performance by preventing sensor misalignment or damage from loose hardware.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from heavy-gauge steel, this bracket features precise bends, coining, and crimping to replicate the original OE design. It is finished with a gray phosphate coating for durability and authenticity and includes pre-installed correct threaded studs. The zinc-coated hardware included closely matches the original factory finish and can be refinished to enhance restoration authenticity.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, as the included screws are designed to fit factory firewall holes, requiring no additional drilling unless existing mounting holes are damaged or enlarged. The bracket aligns precisely in the OEM position for ease of installation.
