Hey what’s up everyone? I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com and I’m checking out these GTR inspired pre-painted headlight splitters for all 2010 and up mustang GTs. MMD has come through yet again with this product and other unique parts which aim to help your mustang stand apart from the crowd. These splitters draw their inspiration from the road race concept mustang GTR which besides its killer performance is equipped with some real cutting edge styling parts, these splitters being one of them. These splitters are constructed from ultra-durable ABS plastic and then are painted right here at AmericanMuscle headquarters in a state of the art paint booth using the same paint and clear coat ford uses on their mustangs. Installation is a breeze thanks to the very detailed instructions and everything that’s included in the kit. Your first step is to prep the back of your splitter using the 3M adhesion promoter, once you have that done go ahead and apply your 3M automotive tape which has already been cut for you. After you have got that, go ahead and move over to your headlight, clean the area on your headlight using the supplied alcohol wipes, align the splitter to the alignment dot that’s right in the middle of your headlight, adhere firmly and that’s it. It shouldn’t take you any more than 30 minutes.
