Description
This skid plate protects 1979-2004 OEM and most aftermarket K-members from damage when bottoming out on crappy roads, racetrack curbing, or during off-track excursions. The skid plate helps the car slide more easily over obstacles without damaging the K-member. Ask me how I know! The worst time to realize you need a skid plate is when it’s too late. This skid plate is made from 0.188-inch (3/16”) thick 304 stainless steel.
UPDATED VERSION to fit 1994-2004 Mustangs with OEM and most aftermarket K-members
Does NOT fit or benefit Mustangs with convertible bracing that attaches to the K-member
