How to Install OPR Trunk Support Struts - Pair (94-04 All) on your Ford Mustang

1. Open Trunk to expose old struts.


2. Remove all 4 clips, top and bottom from old struts.


3. Adjust clips on new struts so they are ready to put on.

4. Be careful when removing old struts because if yours are shot like mine are once you remove one side the trunk will want to close by itself. You might keep the old strut on one side while you replace the new strut on the other side; it seemed to help keep the trunk lid up.


5. Put on new strut and lock clips, repeat for other side.


6. Both OPR Trunk Struts Installed and the trunk lid now pops open and stays open!
