This advanced system features an infrared night vision camera and an interface module designed to work with your existing Sync 2 or 3 infotainment hub. Together, these elements work to provide you with greater visual detail despite challenging road conditions, from bad weather to total darkness. This ensures you’re able to avoid any untoward situation while out on the road.
Advanced Design and Technology. What makes this infrared night vision camera system special is its advanced thermal imaging technology capable of improving visibility in several more challenging situations. Specifically, this system will provide you with a detailed look at the road even through fog, heavy rains, dust, smoke, and even total darkness. Moreover, the included camera will let you see from up to 400 meters compared to just 130 meters with your headlights. Likewise, the camera features an IP67 rating for reliable all-weather performance. Also, the camera comes with an integrated heater creating optimal conditions even during cold weather.
Durable Build Quality. This infrared night vision system’s camera utilizes a premium automotive-grade plastic housing, making it exceptionally durable. Additionally, the housing is injection-molded to precise measurements, offering an exact fit when mounted. The accompanying interface module for its part features a housing precision-crafted from quality alloy designed to protect its internal components from vibration.
Direct Installation. This system’s infrared night vision camera mounts directly onto your Mustang’s screen ideally at the center of the grille. The camera together with the interface module is then connected to your Sync 2 or 3 device using the included harnesses. No modifications to your vehicle are necessary although minor drilling may be necessary to properly attach the camera using the included hardware.
