With its superior 8.80-inch steel construction and wide design, you’re going to get a high-powered addition to your Mustang’s differential immediately.
5.13 Gear Ratio. This ring and pinion set utilizes an aggressive 5.13 gear ratio, which empowers your Mustang to take its performance to the next level. It ensures the correct transfer of power to your wheels in high-performance conditions.
Durable Construction. These wheels are built from heavy-duty 8620 steel. They have been tested for superior strength and wear resistance under pressure.
Recommended Upgrade. If you are changing the gear ratio of your current ring and pinion, this kit will require you to recalibrate your vehicle’s onboard computer with a tune-up. This can be done at home if you have a tuner.
Installation. This ring and pinion kit is very difficult to install, thanks to the intricacy of disassembling your Mustang’s differential to put it in. It will take at least 4 hours to install it yourself with advanced hand tools and advanced mechanical expertise, but professional installation is highly recommended.
