Description
Great for Street or Strip. Featuring furnace-brazed fins and needle bearings, this fully balanced Performance Automatic Torque Converter will increase torque multiplication for greater launches off the line and for more streetable low end power.
2200 RPM Stall. Increasing the rpm stall speed of your Mustangs torque converter will result in the engine reaching the powerband earlier, providing quicker acceleration and lower elapsed times. This Performance Automatic Torque Converter is set to 2200 RPM, that is a 700 increase over stock.
12" Non-lockup Torque Converter. The Performance Automatic 12 inch non-lockup torque converter is a great performance upgrade for factory or mildly modded automatic Mustangs.
Application. This Performance Automatic Non-Lockup Torque Converter is specifically designed for use on 1979 to 1993 high performance 5.0L V8 Mustangs equipped with an AOD automatic transmission, including LX 5.0 and GT models.
