    Review & Install Video

Hey guys, Stephanie with AmericanMuscle.com, here with my review of these black projector headlights for 1994 to '98 GT and V6 Mustangs. These headlights are going to be a good option for those guys out there that are looking to give their SN95 a very modern look with a set of one-piece, dual LED halo headlights. Headlights can have a big impact on the looks of a car, and I would say that these totally transform the SN95. You get the best of both worlds here since you have a black housing for stealthy style, but clear lenses so you can see even better at night. These are one-piece headlights that have black housings, clear lenses, and LED halos with accent lighting, so there's a lot going on here. This isn't just a plain upgraded headlight. This is a headlight that has the works when it comes to after-market headlight options. There's nothing else to add to these besides a side of fries, but I would say that these headlights definitely have a stealthy look to them and the black housing is to thank for that. The black housings give the LED accent lighting and the halo something to really stand out against, both during the day and at night. What's nice about these headlights though, is they have that clear lens, which means that you won't have any trouble seeing at night. You're actually going to have increased visibility at night since these are projector-style lights. And thanks to the LED lighting that these have, the projector lenses have a bright focused beam of light, and this is a different style of light than the standard halogen. And like I mentioned earlier, these headlights have dual halos that are LED-lit, and they have some LED accent lighting as well. The LED accent lighting consists of three LEDs that sit right here along the top of the headlights and they give the headlights and the car a very different look at night when they're lit. These headlights are DOT-approved and so they're legal for street use, and these are going to come with a set of H3 high and low-beam bulbs. Another thing that's going to make these headlights look different and like an upgrade over the factory headlights is the fact that these are one piece. All headlights are one piece anymore, and these make the SN95 look like it should have come from factory with a one-piece. They look much better than a three-piece light on these cars, at least in my opinion. As far as price, these headlights are what I'm going to call fully loaded and as such, they are going to be on the more expensive side of all the headlight offerings on the site. They are not the most expensive option, but they do cost just over $150. If that's a little bit expensive for you, there are some options on the site that are less expensive. When it comes to the install, you can expect to spend about an hour and I'm going to call this a one out of three wrenches on the scale, even though there is some wiring. But the headlights do come with some quick splice connectors to help you out with this part. You're going to need some basic hand and wiring tools to get this done, but nothing out of the ordinary. There isn't a whole lot to do to get headlights into an SN95, just some tabs and some bolts to undo, so it doesn't get much easier. Once the old headlights are out, you can install the new lights and wire them in. And keep in mind that you might have to aim these after the install if you want the best view at night, but the adjustment process isn't difficult. Wrapping this up, these black projector headlights have dual LED halos and LED accent lighting as well. They are a projector-style, one-piece headlight with black housing for stealthy look, and they can add a little style by themselves, or they can help to complete a whole smoked package. You can check these out more online for yourself and for all things Mustang, keep it right here at AmericanMuscle.com.

      Do not fit

They look good but do not fit properly. Huge gap under headlight and you might as well take the foam off the edge when you install it cause it won’t stay on for long. I’m gonna keep them only because they are the nicest thing on my car. Just bought 1994 GT for 800 bucks. I can’t complain.

      Instructions are REALLY BAD

FYI -35 years in Automotive, and I cannot remember any instructions for installation so vague, I wonder why they bothered wasting ink. YOU will need alot of patience with these headlights. It's pretty sad when the instructions tell you the product might leak due to mfg so use silicone on it before installation. ALSO:The outer rubber seal does not look or fit well at all. Its so bad, I'm considering removing it. The screws with 3 mount holes are not marked, but there is a left and right. LOOK 1st and you will see which goes where. Even with that, I had to unadjust the screws and really shove the lights in. No, the vehicle has never been in a collisiion. I would not recommend these to anybody.

Second set of headlights. Went with these as the first set were cheap. Same old situation with these. Headlight adjustments are Plastic and overall not good. Took 3 hours to install with 2 people and the rubbery seal was already apart out of the box. Love you guys but ....when it comes to headlights.....need to find another manufacturer. Would not recommend these to anyone. Everything else has been great!

A Good Choice, But Not Great

These headlights look good, there is no doubt about that, but here are the things you need to know. If you're new to installing and wiring headlights, it is actually pretty simple but will take you a full day to learn as there are no tutorials out there for anything close to a Sn-95 Mustang, so you'll have to have at least some mechanical ability. Instructions are garbage, so is the video they put up about installing these, as for the wiring they link to a different video on a different car. The halos themselves are not as bright as they are in

      These look so good!

This is the third set of headlights that I’ve put in my car, because other brands have always broke the braces on the back. These are so nice and easy to install. They look great once they’re in. And on these, the braces that have broke in the past are REPLACEABLE! So if one breaks I can just take two or three screws out and replace it! I won’t have to buy whole new headlight!
