Allow your modern GT500 to live up to its modern features by replacing the outdated factory prop rod with the RedLine Tuning Hood QuickLIFT ELITE System for Shelby American Hoods. The system comes with an innovative progressive slow-release lift mechanism that requires just a small lift. It also features custom-valved gas springs in its struts, eliminating stress on the hood, and integrates with both aftermarket and factory hoods. The system is completed with a black e-coated finish that provides a sleek engine bay appearance and protects it from corrosion.
Progressive Slow Release. The RedLine Tuning Hood QuickLIFT ELITE System features two custom-valved gas springs in its struts which offers a smooth progressive release mechanism for your convenience. Additionally, the system slows down while approaching full extension to reduce the stress exerted on the hood.
High-Quality Construction. Redline Tuning uses durable gloss black e-coated gas springs, custom ball stud brackets and other mounting hardware in this system. This offers structural integrity and corrosion resistance for extended usable life while also facilitating easy compatibility with factory and aftermarket hoods.
Installation. Installation requires some drilling but all necessary hardware and instructions are provided, making the process effortless for anyone. Takes about one hour.
Warranty. Redline tuning provides a 4-year warranty on this ELITE System against material and workmanship flaws.
