Justin: What's up, guys? Justin with americanmuscle.com actually here hanging with my good buddy, Ron. He works at AM as well. And we're with his 2015 EcoBoost. Ron's really excited. I'm really excited, because this car has been selected to go to this year's SEMA Show where he's going to be debuting some really cool parts. So we're actually down here at our friends at CPE or Custom Performance Engineering in Maryland, and we got something really cool going on today. But, Ron, give a brief little rundown on the car so far.
Ron: Sure. It's a full bolt-on car. We have the CPE off-road downpipe, CPE single shot race exhaust with turn down at the rear sub-frame, a MAP intake, CPE charge pipes for the intercooler, ATM Front Mount Intercooler. It's a stepped core. It's pretty large.
Justin: Pretty hardcore.
Ron: It's tuned with a COBB V3 Accessport.
Justin: Okay.
Ron: And we also have a supplemental port fuel injection setup. That's from CPE as well. And we're gonna obviously upgrade the turbo today and that fuel system will support the power that that'll make.
Justin: The car is beautiful. Guard, I love it. You got the Forgestars going on. But for now, let's stop talking. Let's get wrenching and get to work. As you can see, we do have Ron's stock turbo out now. We have a table full of awesomeness here. But I'm here with Sean from CPE. Sean, why don't you tell us what you guys do.
Sean: Sure, yeah. Originally, we were ourselves in a lot of Mazda and BMW specific, but for the past five or so years we're really diving big into this EcoBoost technology here. And as you can see with this, we're really introducing heavily modified parts for the Mustang really trying to support that as much as we can.
Justin: Let's talk about some of the stuff we got going on here because this is, again, a table full of awesomeness, starting with this monster. What's this going on here, man?
Sean: Yeah. So this is the BorgWarner. So this will be the biggest one you can fit in here in the Mustang. So that's gonna be really sweet.
Justin: Look at this. This is obviously the BorgWarner compared to your factory turbo. I mean it's just laughable.
Sean: Yeah. If you're hunting the big power, this is what you're gonna be running right here.
Justin: That's awesome. Well, let's talk about the centerpiece for this kit, Sean, because this is what really is gonna separate you guys, right?
Sean: Exactly. This is the manifold that you'll be running. So this is full single piece cast metal because we want as much reliability and stability as possible. And it is continuous twin scroll throughout, so you're gonna maintain that twin scroll high spooling good response times.
Justin: And since it is cast, that you're not seeing the welds which can typically crack.
Sean: Exactly. This should last you no matter what.
Justin: All right, guys. Well, we're finishing up here. We're at the home stretch, custom one-off four-inch intake. This thing is absolutely massive. The turbo is in. It fits great. And I know you guys wanna hear this thing, but I'm gonna tell you to wait. We'll have some dyno numbers for you. In the meantime, subscribe, so you can catch the finished product live from Las Vegas out in SEMA. So guys, thanks for joining us here today from CPE. We've had a blast putting this thing on. I know Ron can't wait to get behind the wheel of this thing. And for all things Mustang, keep it right here at americanmuscle.com.
