Will i need to change something in the engine internals for this supercharger (heads etc).

I want to keep the rims 20's what are the best set of tiers I can get when I install my R2300? I do want the rear 305 if possible. please help!

    • Well for the rear tires you want to go as fat as possible. Depending on your backspacing/offset you may be able to squeeze 315s, but a 305 would fit no problem (and still PLENTY fat). However, if your Mustang has lowering springs, anything bigger than a 275 would require measuring, or be a lucky guess, if you wanted it to fit without rubbing. The front tires are less important in terms of traction and you can certainly buy according to your desired look (just don't go too thin!). Personally I think a 255 is perfect, and if you Mustang is lowered that's probably as big as you can get up front. 275 if it's stock height.

RE: Rough 727HP Supercharger kit on the ‘15 Mustang GT Premium with PP. Any “Recall” factory update list verification “gaskets water pump. Head temperature variance; and or, exhaust back pressure change by x-pipe replacement of resonator effects to CPU tune upgrade.” I’m able to monitor my head temps already. Roush is not recommending any fan, grill or water pump upgrades to be mandatory. Does a x - pipe update effect the back pressure off setting the new tune program of the Roush 727hp Supercharger kit?

    • Depending on what x-pipe you go with, as well as if it has catalytic converters or not, can definitely affect the tune that is included with the Roush R2300 727HP Supercharger.

With this kit what kind of fuel/octane can I use?

    • This kit requires the use of premium fuel (91 octane and up). With a custom dyno tune, you may use some alternative fuels such as Ethanol 85, Ethanol 90, etc.

My 2016 GT Convertible has Kooks 1-7/8" Catted Long Tubes and Magnaflow Street Catback already installed on it. Will Roush be able to flash my PCM for this setup if I send it in to them?

    • Hey! The Roush R2300 727HP Supercharger - Phase 2 Kit PCM flash is a base tune. For custom tuning, you would need to consult with a tuning company.

      Roush stage 2 727HP AWESOME!!!

Roush has updated their kits. They now send you all new hoses. No cutting and modifying the old ones. Directions are good. Watch the videos on installation they help clarify things. I took my time with the install because I had to wait for the PCM to come back from Roush. In all I took about 15-17hours to install everything and have it running. Now be aware that things can go wrong even if Roush does the PCM flash. Mine threw an Indio code on start up P0315. Crankshaft position sensor not learned. 3 calls to Roush and a trip to a local Ford dealership that was familiar with working on modified cars and all is well. Great running and awesome power. The kit is super clean and looks factory.

      It's not bad

I like the power it's gives however I have check engine light. When I asked the ford dealers who was installed the supercharger he said that it it might be because I have headers and the best way to get away from the check engine light is to do "dynio" to program the car. They told me that I can drive the car like that nothing will happen!!!!

Roush 727 HP phase 2 kit shake down

Extended test Roush should post: Set in track mode to re challenge slide correction at both acceleration and deceleration due in fact to a idle of 650 RPM delay. Strut tower and other are removed with weight added. Michelin Pilot Super Sport tire prove to be sticky with the performance pack suspension. Must travel for quiet high RPM test. Regards, NGK

      New Tune!!!

Super impressed with this kit! However... I highly recommend getting a better tune built for it, I went through Lund Racing and Evolution Performance. I was flabbergasted as soon as I drove away with a dyno tuning session. Ford only gives you a mild tune and the car did not the same all the time. After the Lund tune the car drove WAY better, More clean and reliable and more power!

      Set it and forget it!

Just that. Set it and forget it. The think rubber gloves they include need to be replaced. Prior to just setting your hand on fire your fingers start to melt. You don’t want to open unit up while in use but it’s the only way to adjust product. The rotating rack is decent. At 8 psi you’ll get 4 birds in an hour. I use that time to stack raw meat in the ronco stage 3 dehydrator which I’ve relocated just past heat exchanger clean up is a breeze as this is the updated unit not base so you get the drip tray and full plug and play right out of the box.

      Amazing!

Had the Roush R2300 Phase 2 (727 HP) installed by an authorized dealer on my 2015 GT Premium. You can't tell it's there by listening for it. My GT is 100 stock except for the SC. Normal driving fuel economy is spot on to stock. With that said, you know it's there when you put your foot down. When the R2300 tips in, you better hold on and be ready to shift! It is an absolute beast. As an added note, on my Premium, the boost and A/F gauges in the info display Gauge setting worked without modification. Read 10psi boost and between 9.5 to 12.5 AFR, depending on what gear and load I was in. Those "free" gauges are big plus if you decide to add a Roush blower. I can recommend that you do. You won't regret it!

The power from the phase 2 supercharger is absolutely amazing. The install went well other than the instructions were not always very clear. Would recommend watching the videos of ailable on YouTube and there´s will help you out significantly. There was absolutely no reason to remove the water pump and I was able to install it just fine without doing so. Highly recommended.
