    Simple C-clip design. Roush Steering Rack Stops are a simple C-clip and clamp that installs on the steering rack shaft to reduce your Pony's turning radius to stop wheel rub.

        Should it be "Increases turning radius" rather than "Reduces Turning Radius"?

        I installed Roush 20"x9.5" with Cooper Zeon RSE-3 Tiers 275/35/20. The problem is The front tiers touch the chassis when I do max turn. is this product going to solve the problem?

        • Depending on the offset of the wheel, the Roush Steering Rack Stops will eliminate a good portion of the rubbing, if it does not eliminate it all together.

            Steering Rack Stops Stopped the Rub

            These Roush Steering Rack Stops fixed the issue I created by lowering my car and installing BMR A-Arms. Without the stops installed the steering wheel could be turned far enough to rub the wheels on the aftermarket A-Arms. After installation at a local shop I can turn the steering wheel to the extremes without fear of damaging my car. Very happy with the part.

            Just What We Needed

            I installed a set of 19” wheels and tires on my son’s 05 Mustang. The wheels were rubbing on the inside during tight turning. These steering rack stops worked perfectly.

            2008 GT500 w/ 295/35/19 Front

            My 2008 GT500 has 295/35/19 in the front and 305/35/19 in the back. With 295 upfront, the tires rubbed just a tad under a full turn while in motion. I purchased this kit to mitigate the problem. The install was easy, you just have to make sure to use an Oetiker clamp tool to secure the new Plex-type clamp. The tires no longer rub and any speed. Theoretically, it decreases the turning radius. However, apparently it’s not significant enough for me to notice. Cannot be happier with this purchase. Quick shipping and delivery:

            Nice product

            Works as advertised and super easy install. I didn't have the specific pliers to crimp the clamps but I used some side cutters I had, which basically do the same thing of crimping the clamp without having to buy a specialized tool.

            Stop 255/45xR18 Tires Rubbing.

            These steering rack stops eliminated the 255/45xR18 tires rubbing near the brake line brackets on our 08 V6 vert. They were easy to install by only removing the large boot bands, snapping the spacers in place, and replacing the bands with those supplied in the kit.

            easy install

            Worked great, easy installation. Just have the clip wrench thing to clamp the boots back together or put the old clamps back on.

            Great kit

            Awesome kit. Easy to install but I have 295/30/20 in the front. So I believe I need a bumpsteer kit instead.

            Must have if your running 20s

            Best 12 dollars I have spent, I'm running 20*10s all the way around with 255-35 tires. It used to rub when turning all the way left or right. After installing these stops, NO MORE RUBBING!! Must have!

            Solved minor tire rub

            Had stock wheels and upgraded to larger tire/wheel package. There was some tire rub at full steering lock. Installed these and the rubbing is gone. They were easy to install. Be careful installing the oetiker clamps, if you squeeze too much, they break. Had to obtain a second kit just to get another clamp as they don't appear to be available unless part of a kit. Even the local Ford dealer wanted to sell me a whole steering rack boot kit instead of an individual clamp.

            Required if you want a 9inch or wider tire in the front

            I have a 2014 mustang v6 that I added 2015 mustang performance pack wheels 19x9s in the front and they would rub at max turn I added these spacers and no more rubbing highly recommend

            steering locks

            The Roush steering racks are the best way to go if you are rubbing in the front while turning, very cheap in price and an easy install. Took about 20 minutes to do in my garage. Very good product and stopped all the rubbing I had in the front while turning.

            Easy fix for tire rubs

            Super easy install. I bought these because I fitted 18x10 wheels to the front and the rim edge just about ground itself on the control arm. The tire would be rubbing everything around. I saw these on American Muscle's site and ordered up a set. Since I already had the car on jackstands, I had them installed in about 20 minutes. Popped off the factory clamps, slid off the boots and snapped on the stops in about the time it took to type this. I fitted the new clamps. I don't own the proper clamp tool but I used end-cutters to pull down the clamps. Perfect.

            Good deal!

            $12 + free/fast shipping + fixes all tire rub-- what more could you want! I installed this on my 2014 V6 Base model after noticing tire rub with my 19" GT take off wheels. This solved the problem and was a good deal in my opinion. In regards to the Oetiker pliers, i bought a set off of Ebay for around $20.

            They work great!!

            I put them on my 2013 V6 because I changed to 19" wheels. Took about 15 minutes to install. Only problem was one of the clamps broke. Have a couple on hand when you install them. Bought another one for a buck. Great otherwise. They really work!!

            Roush Steering Rack Stops

            This was extremely easy to install, and stopped my tires from rubbing when making a sharp turn. A definite must for anyone installing 45 series or larger tires on the front of their mustang.

            Simple fix

            this is a quick and easy install even without the special crimping tool by just using a pair of dull side cutters. These were used on my car to keep the 18" GT500 wheels i installed from rubbing the control arm at full wheel lock.

            Easy Install and Wheel Saver!!!

            My mustang came stock with the 17" bullet wheels.I upgraded to 19" wheels and knew I had to limit the steering radius in order to keep my wheels from hitting the control arms. This kit was exactly what I was looking for. Very simple install and noticeable difference. I don't have to "guess" any more when making turns. These stops keep my wheels from getting marred up on the inside. This is an inexpensive nad easy to install fix I would highly recommend to anyone!
