How to Install Roush Windshield Banner - Tan (94-14 All) on your Ford Mustang

The following section will guide you through the installation of the ROUSH windshield banner (R131503088). 

1. Thoroughly clean the windshield with isopropyl alcohol and a terry cloth to promote strong adhesion of the windshield banner to the windshield.

2. Place the ROUSH windshield banner onto the windshield and align the top edge of the banner with the top edge of the glass. Place a piece of masking tape vertically across the banner near the middle once it is in the correct position in order to hold it in place.

3. Peel off the backing from one edge of the banner up towards the masking tape and trim the backing off as shown below. 

5. Peel the protective covering off of the applied portion of the windshield banner up toward the line of masking tape but do not go past the letters that have already been applied. Do not completely remove the protective covering yet. 

6. Move to the opposite side of the windshield banner, remove the masking tape and remove the rest of the backing. Move the remaining portion of the windshield banner in place while keeping constant tension and making sure that it does not contact the glass. Use a plastic squeegee and drag it from the center out to the edge to apply the banner. Once the banner is applied, squeegee out any remaining air bubbles. 

7. Continue removing the protective covering from the rest of the windshield banner. Using a plastic squeegee, carefully remove any remaining air bubbles.

8. Allow several hours of dry time before cleaning. Never power wash or scrape your ROUSH windshield banner.
