Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m checking out the RTR Rear Diffuser with 3 piece splitter fitting all 2010-2012 Mustang GTs. As fans of Vaughn Gittin Jr’s Ready to Rock drift and street Mustang, AmericanMuscle is excited to bring you these appearance parts from the RTR package, this time featuring the same exact rear diffuser and splitter combo used on the RTR special edition Mustangs. There are two major parts that make up this package, the first is the rear lower diffuser. The diffuser wraps around the entire lower portion of the rear bumper, and fills the void in the middle of the factory rear bumper very well. The diffuser is then capped off with the 3 piece splitter, which looks awesome and definitely adds a bit more muscle to the rear of the car. Both the diffuser and splitter are made from OEM quality injection molded thermal plastic, and feature this OE style grain like texture, which is going to make it blend seamlessly with other factory parts on the car. Accorded to the detailed instructions included with the rear diffuser, You will need to remove your rear bumper and tail lights in order to properly install the RTR piece. While it’s nothing more than a few screws and some factory push pins, it can be a little time consuming so we’re going to call this one 3 hours from start to finish, just to be on the safe side. It’s no secret that Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Ford were really trying to nail the look of a legit race car with the RTR package, and with parts like this diffuser, available right here at AmericanMuscle.com, they’ve done a great job making the already tough looking Mustang look even better.

Ready To Rock!
RTR rear diffuser is high quality, gives it an aggressive look and makes the rear of the car look about 1 1/2" lower than stock with the rear splitter. I have both the front RTR splitter and rocker panels making the whole bottom of the car line up. It also goes perfectly with the GT500 rear splash guards. It took about 2hours to disassemble and install and you will need a buddys help for this. Yes its pricey but worth the $$$ I would definitely recommend this item.Helpful (9)

It looks even better than i thought it would!!
Hi everyone, if you want to give that agressive look to your mustang, the RTR rear valance is what you want!! You don't even have to be a rocket scientist to put it on and you don't have to remove the whole bumper either. There's 2 extra brackets attached to the valance so make sure you don't cut them off cause there's 2 holes already made under the car to fix it in place. You need 2 extra bolts, 1/4" X 1" with flats and nuts, not provided with the product. Go ahead, take some pride in your ride and enjoy!!Helpful (9)

I'm Ready to Rock!
You will be as well with this RTR rear Diffuser. Mine was a little more complicated to install due to the rear reversing sensors but it still wasn't to bad to install. CDC did a great job designing this and the diffuser it's self is an OEM part so the fit is perfect. Really improves the look of the car and especially when you add the Roush rocker panel splitters. Ya it's a little pricey but if you want to stand out from the rest of the herd you need to spend a little. Great addition to the GT.Helpful (13)

RTR Rear Diffuser
The RTR rear diffuser is the same as the CS/BOSS/GT500 but with the splitters added. Great fit, the splitters really make the difference on the finish, it matches perfectly the look when you have also the Boss front Splitter and the Roush side Splitters.Helpful (9)
Will this work with a quad exhaust?
The RTR Rear Diffuser w/ 3-Piece Splitter is designed with single tip exhaust.
will this work with the ford rear splash guards?
The RTR Rear Diffuser with 3pc Splitter (10-12 All) will be able to work with the Ford rear splash guards.
Downforce Does this diffuser actually provide additional downforce, or streamline the air coming out from under the car to reduce drag/ turbulence?
more looks than preformance, does help but not much
paintable? I would like to have this painted to match the car. But with the factory "texture" on the plastic is it possible to get a smooth surface when its painted, so it doesn't look cheap?
You can have it sanded down by a body shop then painted. I did this with mine and it's smooth.
Can I buy only the RTR piece splitter? Is it compatible with 2013 GT/CS rear bumper?
We only carry this as a set including the diffuser and the 3-piece splitter. Unfortunately, this will only fit the 2010-2012 Mustangs as the bumper changed slightly on the new 2013s.
I've seen some do it on theirs, obviously you need to make some holes for it... I know I would not be able to do this, but a specialized shop should be able to do it for you.
