Superior Internals. Build your modular engine to withstand the abuse that accompanies high powered Mustangs with a Scat Street Strip Rotating Assembly. Designed specifically for 2-valve and 4-valve 4.6L V8 engines, this Scat Kit replaces your stock rotating assembly with forged internals. This Scat Stroker Kit will punch out your 281 cubic inch V8 to a more respectable 300 cubic inches.

Kit Includes. Maximize the displacement of your engine with a cubic inch-enhancing stroker kit that includes a 4340 forged steel crankshaft, 4340 forged H-Beam connecting rods with 7/16" cap screws, forged dish top pistons as well as rings and main & rod bearings.

Compression Ratio. The Scat Stroker Kit will allow for different compression ratios depending on the heads installed. Examples: 10.1:1 with 42cc heads; 9.0:1 with 51cc heads; 8.8:1 with 53cc heads.

Serious Upgrade. Replacing the rotating assembly is a serious job that requires a wide range of tools, space, and knowledge. Without a decent mechanical background, it is best recommended to take this to a shop for install.

Application. This Scat Street-Strip Rotating Assembly Kit is designed to fit 1996-2004 Mustangs equipped with the modular 4.6L 2-valve or 4-valve V8 engine - including the GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and SVT Cobra models.

Whats the power rating on these parts? I'm going for 600whp will this support it?

    • Hey Ami, This kit is designed to handle just about any high powered application and would be able to hold up to 1000hp safely. SO the 600 you are looking at should work perfect with this rotating assembly

Depending on tune and other modifications what type of increase in Hp are we looking at?

    • There are a number of factors that will determine power output with the Scat 300 ci Street Strip Rotating Assembly. Unfortunately due to a number of variables, we are unable to provide an accurate estimate of power gains without further information.

What does this Crankshaft actually turn your motor into? I found one on Jegs that is a 301 and I'm really loving oking for that but it doesn't have a Forged Crankshaft and this one does and I'm looking to spray a 150 Shot of Nos! Will I be able to do that on this Stroker! Also how much HP does this Stroker actually add to the car? What is the Pistons Dish? The one I looked at is 22cc and I'm choosing between this one and that other Stroker! And what is the Comp Ratio! Does this kit come with all the Bearings and everything needed for the instal? And if I get this what can I bore my Motor over to or what will I need to bore it to?

    • The Scat 300 ci Street Strip Rotating Assembly will include pistons, rods, and a crank as well as all the rings and bearings. The kit has a 3.572" bore and 3.750" bore, resulting in a total displacement of 300.631 cubic inches or 4.9L. Horsepower added will depend on a large number of factors, such as head, intake and exhaust flow. Compression ratio will vary based on head volume. Compression Ratio 10.1:1 with 42cc heads, 9.0:1 with 51cc heads, and, 8.8:1 with 53cc heads. Piston dish/dome is +18.50cc

Will this work with TRICK FLOW 380/375 TOP END ENGINE KIT W/ 44CC HEADS ?

    • All Scat Crankshaft assemblies will come with factory spec pistons which will not work with your Twisted Wedge Modular Kit. Generally, Scat will need to build you a custom crankshaft to work with those heads.

      Awesome

A friend told me about this and I ordered it not knowing too much about it but I am sure glad I did. This assembly gives a super solid feel when ripping through gears. Couldn't be happier
