      Description

      Rear Wheel Security. The SeaSucker Rear Wheel Housing and Ladder Strap provides a robust upgrade for securing the rear wheel of your bicycle during transport. It replaces the standard velcro strap with a durable ladder strap and buckle, offering a more secure connection that prevents unwanted movement while on the road. This product is ideal for enhancing the safety and stability of your bike when mounted on racks.

      Construction and Appearance. The unit features a 25-inch aluminum front wheel mount combined with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) body that ensures both strength and lightweight durability. The materials are precision molded and finished to provide a rugged, functional appearance suited for rooftop, trunk, or hatchback mounting situations.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward, involving the removal of the existing rear wheel housing by unscrewing four screws, then securing the new housing with the pre-assembled ladder strap using the original screws. No drilling is required, and the process can be completed with basic hand tools.

      Application. Fits universally to standard road, cross, and MTB wheels up to 29 inches, with compatibility for through-axles when used with the appropriate plugs. Not compatible with boost hubs (15x110mm).
