Thank you for your purchase of SilverHorse Racing products. Please read all directions before beginning the installation. A factory shop manual should be available for reference during installation. If, after reading these and any accompanying directions, you feel that you may not be able to complete the installation safely and properly, please seek out professional installation by certified technicians. Please read and understand our product purchase agreement (included) prior to starting installation. Vehicle should be off with key removed from ignition and in park with parking brake set prior to beginning installation. Expected installation time is 5 minutes.

1. Turn key to the off position and remove from ignition, making sure vehicle is in park /

neutral and the parking brake is set on a flat, level surface.

2. There are two styles of our Tru-Billet Emergency Brake Handle. The first design is for cars

with the rubber stock handle – they use the angled front end, while the leather stock handle uses

the E-brake with the radius on the front. Please insure you ordered and are using the correct

piece for your application for the best fit. See photos on our website if you are unsure.

3. Slide new cover over existing E-Brake, being careful not to accidentally release brake. Flat

end goes toward the back, with angled (or radius) end toward the front, and set screws to the

bottom. Use included Allen wrench to tighten set screws snug in bottom, but over-tightening is

not required and will just dig into handle. Set screws may need to be backed out slightly for

installation, as they are fully threaded into holes here at SilverHorse Racing. A small amount

of soapy water on the stock handle may assist in sliding the handle into place if the fit is tight.

4. Enjoy your new E-Brake !!
