    Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, here with a classic look in the form of these American Graphics and vinyl hash marks fitting all 2010 and newer Mustangs. These hash marks were used on early race cars in the 70’s to differentiate between drivers, but the look eventually carried over to both classic and modern muscle cars, looking right at home here on our Mustangs. There stripes are constructed using only the highest quality premium cast vinyl, and are available in your choice of either silver, red, blue, white, gloss black, and matte black. All of our AmericanMuscle graphics vinyl have been designed right here in house and then tested on our very own cars first so you can expect a perfect fit on your Mustang. As far as vinyl goes, the install with this kit really isn’t all that bad, of course it helps to have some of the basic necessities on hand before you get started, including your bottle filled with a soap and water mixture, and of course the included squeegee. If you take your time and follow the detailed instructions, you should be wrapped up in about an hour.         How well hash marks hold up going thru car wash?

        • Yes, but touch less car washes are the best for graphic care. The use of brush car washes (depending upon the frequency and quality of brush) may cause dulling/scratching/lifting edge of the graphics.

        I get a lot off rain and snow here. In fact its raining now and will be snowing tonight. My hash marks have come in and are just waiting for a good time to put on. How do these work in the heavy rain, snow, etc? I don't want to wake up and them to move around or fall off. Thanks

        • As long the Red Hash Marks (94-04 All) are installed properly these can last at least 8 years of harsh outdoor weather.

        Do the hash. Marks wrap under wheel well and top of fender-hood seem or do cut them at top and bottom of fender surface seam

        • The White Hash Marks (94-04 All) will have enough to wrap underneath the fender well and on the top of the fender where it meets the Mustang's hood. This is to ensure that there are no blemishes in the finish once it is done.

        hash mark stripes Hi I bought the silver hash marks for my stang. in the instructions it says peel off the backing paper. Is that the paper named masking tape. Thank you

        • Spray soapy water onto the surface, peel off the plastic side of the stripe adhesion paper and place decal onto the desired area. Spray the paper backing with soapy water and use the provided squeegee to remove all air bubbles from the decal. Final step, remove the paper backing for. The decal. You now have hash mark decals. The Instructions are very good that come with it. Hope this helps.

        Is it okay to wax your car before installing these? I usually have my car waxed and was wondering if it would be fine if it was waxed?

        • You will want to clean and wash the area of the car these will be installed on, to be free of wax and any other dirt particles. Your paint needs to be wax free for these to adhere properly. Hope this helps!

            My 2004 gt

            I went from a complete stop GT Mustang to what I have finished today everything on my car except for the engine was bought from American Muscle Sr performance parts can't thank American Muscle and I've had no problems with delivery I mean I bought springs control arm struts shocks chamber casters adjustable routers calipers tires Wheels strut bars thank you American Muscle oh yeah and bolt on performance under the hood

            these hash stripes are a plus to a stock paint job easy installation should hand wash no wax no wax finish before installation besure to extend decals under outer fender lip bottom and inner fender of hood. for a nicer look.

            silver bullet

            I installed Blue hash marks on my silver 2006 mustang GT 2 years ago and they still look great! I get compliments everywhere I go, even though my mustang has 147,000 miles on it and it isn`t a show car by any means. The Hash marks and chrome accents set it apart from other mustangs,and make it mine.
