How to Install SR Performance Subframe Connectors - Black on your Mustang

(1) Driver Side Seat Bracket

(4) 10MM Lock Washer

(4) 10MM Nuts

1. On a level surface, raise and support the vehicle on jack stands.

2. Remove the (4) bolts securing the rear of the driver's and passenger's seats. 

3. Locate the driver side bracket, this bracket as an additional hole drilled in it (the hole will not be used). Bolt the driver's side seat bracket into place.

4. Bolt the passenger's side bracket into place.

5. Hold the subframe connector in place. Mark all welding locations.

6. Remove the subframe connectors and scuff all welding locations to clean bare metal removing any and all paint, undercoating, rust, etc.

7. Secure the subframe connector in place ensuring the tightest possible fit. Then weld the subframe connector in place.

8. Thoroughly weld the subframe connectors and seat brackets to the vehicle.

9 . Repaint any and all bare metal to prevent rust.
