      SR Performance Lowering Springs. Installing a set of SR Performance Progressive Rate Springs will lower your Mustang's center of gravity, which will reduce squat during acceleration, body roll in the corners, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking. These springs not only improve handling, but they also improve the appearance of your Pony by lowering the ride height approximately 1.5" to eliminate that ugly "4x4" tire to fender gap, for a more aggressive street stance.

      SR Performance Strut Tower Brace. Eliminate unwanted chassis flex and body roll in your S197 Mustang with a SR Performance Strut Tower Brace for improved handling. This Strut Tower Brace is made from super strong, aircraft-grade 4130 chromoly alloy steel to keep your front end from flexing under the torque of your motor and it is completed in an attractive black powder coated finish for durability, corrosion resistance and impressive under hood styling.

      Recommended Upgrade. Anytime you lower your Mustang, your rear axle gets moved out of alignment. Adding an Adjustable Panhard Bar will not only center your rear axle, but offers great traction during straight-line acceleration as well as superior strength over the factory panhard bar.

      Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your factory size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle's pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.Application. This SR Performance Black Strut Tower Brace & Lowering Spring Kit is designed for use on the 2005 to 2014 V6, GT and Bullitt Mustang Coupes. Does not fit convertible models.

      Springs Technical Note. SR Performance Springs will only fit 2011 to 2014 GT and V6 Coupes when used in combination with Ford Racing M-18183-C upper strut mounts and M-18000-A dampers (sold separately).

      Strut Tower Brace Technical Note. Some 2007-2009 V6 Mustangs may require minor modifications to assure proper clearance of the factory coil pack boots. Will not clear BOSS 302 Intake Manifold or Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger.

        Perfect Mod!!!

        The lowering springs do exactly as they say. They lower the car one inch which gets rid of most of that nasty wheel gap in the back. And the ride is much more stiff and secure. It eliminates all the body roll in turns. (Which really helps if you like to slide that back end out and have some fun). It also isn’t so much of a drop that you scrub on anything. And the strut tower brace looks very nice when you pop the hood.

        Everything u guys send me is high quality and does exactly what you say its going to do! And they last. This brace keeps my chassis from rolling when cornering which enables me to take a dump all over the local gt’s . Love it.

        Great product......but.

        So first off install was pretty easy, normal stuff, good quality products. Now the but not sitting low enough for me I like my cars totally flush not stanced just flush. I'll prolly go with coil overs soon.

        Handling feels great

        Fills wheel well gap perfectly. Went well with AMR staggered wheels and Nitto tires. Handles like a beast now. Watch out for driveways and speed bumps though.

      With the Sr performance lowering springs will I need a adjustable panhard bar to keep the rear end centered?

      • When lowering a car it would be recommended to get a adjustable pan hard bar to recenter the rear end yes!

      Does the upgrade make the drive really uncomfortable? Seems like it takes lots of shocks vibration in the car while driving.

      • The lowering springs are shorter than the factory springs and the have an increase spring ratio. The strut tower brace will stiffen up the chassis in the vehicle as well. These two components will sacrifice comfort for the increase in handling performance.

      Will this kit work on a convertible or is it strictly for a coupe.

      • The SR Performance Strut Tower Brace & Lowering Spring Kit is designed specifically for the coupe, and will not work on the convertible.

      Aside from getting the Lowering Springs would I need to get new control arms as well? A tire shop recommended it.

      • Hey Bryan, Not necessarily, generally the first thing you may need is a pan hard bar or caster camber plates because they would directly be effected by a drop. But the control arms are more for wheel hop and tightening the chassis for higher powered applications to stick to the earth.

      Do I need to change shock absorbers?

      • The shocks will not need to be replaced when upgrading to this kit.
