    • Simple Bolt-On Installation
    • Fits 2011-2017 V6 Mustangs with Factory Throttle Body
Improve Engine Performance. Unleash your V6 Mustang's hidden power with a SR Performance Throttle Body Spacer. The SR Performance throttle body spacer increases plenum volume to improve the low to mid range torque from your Mustang's stock 3.7L engine, with noticeable gains seen between 800 to 2500 RPM.

Better Fuel Economy. The SR Performance Throttle Body Spacer not only improves the performance of your Mustang, but with its unique “Spiral Bore” design it also improves fuel efficiency. The Spiral Bore "spins" the incoming air for improved atomization of the air fuel mixture for better combustion.

Billet Aluminum Construction. CNC machined from high quality billet aluminum the SR Performance Throttle Body Spacer includes all the necessary hardware required for a simple straightforward bolt-on installation.

Application. The SR Performance Throttle Body Spacer is specifically designed to fit the 2011-2017 3.7L V6 Mustangs with a factory throttle body installed. No tune required.

Compatible with Airaid CAI? Is this spacer compatible with the Airaid CAI and BBK Throttle Body?

    • Yes it is

Will this work with a bbk throttle body ?

    • This throttle body spacer will only work for the factory throttle body.

Please excuse the ignorance, but what exactly is this good for? I am not quite sure what this is exactly, I just find it intriguing because it says it improves performance. Also Will this work with the aftermarket cold air intake?

    • By increasing your plenum size behind the throttle body, we have found that this was able to create a little bit better of an airflow which ultimately lead to a small increase in power in the low to mid RPM range. I personally would recommend rather than purchasing this item, putting this money towards the BBK 73mm Throttle Body (11-17 V6) Item 56146 http://www.americanmuscle.com/bbk-85mm-throttlebody-112v6.html. The stock throttle body size is 68mm and by increasing your size throttle body you are now allowing more air to flow into the motor which ultimately leads to more performance throughout the entire power curve!

Hi I am just wondering why this SR spacer will fit with a Airaid CAI, But the Airaid spacer will not work? What is the difference? Sorry I'm a newbbie to all this!! I have a 2014 3.7 and would like to start with these two MODS. If I can?

    • Both the SR Performance Throttle Body Spacer and the Airaid Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer are physically able to be installed with a cold air intake, however this will move the throttle body outward, thus moving the mounting location for the CAI, because of this you can have fitment issues, or create a restriction if the couplers Kink. Airaid does not recommend this with their CAI, whereas SR Performance will advise it is possible, but additional care must be made during install to ensure everything is correct.

Will this fit with an aftermarket CAI? I have an Air raid cold air intake on my 2014 3.7, and I was wondering if this would fit, and if there would be any benefit of adding this? Thanks for your input!

    • Yes, it'll fit.

Hey I am just kind of confused because I was looking at the BBK 73mm throttle body and one of the top rated questions that was answered was some one asked if there was a throttle body spacer that would fit that throttle body. And the answer that was posted by y’all said yes there was was one and this was the model number that was claimed to fit the 73mm BBK throttle body but then I came on the description of this throttle body spacer and it says it strictly only works with stock throttle bodies? I am just kinda confused is all because the FAQ answer for the question about finding a spacer was linked to this one but then on here it said it will only fit sock. Any help would be appreciated thanks! 1 answer

      The whistleee

Don't know if their were any significant perfomance gains, but I love to hear the spacer suck in the air. My mustang is my daily and it makes even more enjoyable driving it. My only issue is that it came with a 2014 installation instructions manual, and I own a 2016 mustang.

      Throttle body spacer

The SR Preformance throttle body spacer says it can improve low end torque and better MPG. I can sure say it improves that low end torque but it made my MPG worse. The instructions were outdated at least for 2015 to 2017 V6 Mustang. Other then that great product and pretty straight forward.

      SR Performance Throttle Body Spacer.

Engineered well. Seem to help torque throughout power band. However, I dont hear any whistle as others have stated. Then again, I do have the Roelsh Axle Back exhaust which is loader than stock for sure.

      Love it!

I didn't get this at the same time as my bbk 73mm throttle body and roush CAI, but I should've. Easy install (15 minutes max), and you definitely hear the little whistle it brings through the intake. Not a performance enhancer (think 4 or something like that) but gives it a nice little chirp at low rmp and when you let off the throttle. Definitely suggest it if you go for the full throttle body/cai package.

      Well Fitting Throttle body spacer

This part fit really well and I'm sure it helps a bit with airflow into the engine. I cannot tell any major difference but with a combination of other parts (headers/exhaust/air intake), it only makes sense that it would add to the better breathing of the engine

      Good power.. not good MPG

The write up says it will improve your MPGs. Don't believe it. I went from 32.4 on the highway to 26.6 on the same road same day using two tanks of gas for each run. To be honest, though. My city mileage has improved slightly. The power.. there is a noticeable difference in bottom end power. It is so easy to install, I will remove it for long distance trips and re-install at the other end. My only worry is the gasket. I have yet to test this with a custom tune.

      Great investment

It does have better fuel mileage so far it’s went up from 24.4mpg to 24.9 mpg but the instant mpg does stay around the 30 mark when driving normally. It has a much greater response time from a dead stop and has more of a punch when hiring the gas at higher speeds. It only took maybe 35-40 minutes to install and is definitely worth the money

      Easy Install

Only, slight issue, was with the head type of the bolts. If used on an OEM, then it would be easy, but hard to tighten with putting with after market throttle body.

      not bad for the money

I didn't expect this to do anything, I was impressed because i did feel a little more acceleration then before. I already have a tune and full exhaust so I can say it was a good purchase for my mustang. You can feel a little more acceleration in the lower rpms. It took about 15 mins to install.
