Description
High-Performance Exhaust Upgrade. The Stainless Works 2-Inch Long Tube Headers optimize exhaust flow and engine efficiency for your Foxbody Mustang. Engineered to replace the factory manifolds, they improve horsepower and torque through enhanced exhaust scavenging and reduced backpressure, making them suitable for racing and high-performance street use.
Construction and Appearance. Made from premium stainless steel, these headers provide a durable, corrosion-resistant finish with a polished surface. Mandrel-bent tubes and precise welds ensure long-lasting strength while delivering an aggressive under-hood look that complements performance modifications.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and standard automotive tools. No drilling is necessary, as the headers bolt directly onto compatible cylinder heads and fit existing transmission and chassis components designed for Foxbody Mustang configurations.
Application. Designed specifically for 1979-1993 5.0L Mustang models equipped with Twisted Wedge cylinder heads, these headers are incompatible with Foxbody Mustangs using QA1 K-member setups or other non-specified configurations.
