Improves Traction. Steeda's aluminum rear lower control arms eliminate suspension bind to improve traction and reduce wheel hop. The result is faster launches and more control even around the sharpest hairpin turns.

Lowers 60 Ft Times. If you're tired of not being able to "hook up" and put your power down at the line, these lower control arms will help your Mustang's rear end stay planted for faster 60 foot times.

Ideal for Weekend Warriors. These 4500 Steeda Series rear lower control arms are best for Mustangs who stretch their legs on both the street, strip, and track. These control arms are a great balance of street manners and improved handling.

Innovative, Lightweight Design. Steeda's lower control arms are less than 1/2 the weight of other aftermarket arms, and are made of aircraft quality 6061 T-6 aluminum to reduce unsprung weight by over 30%. When every pound counts, these bars are less than 1/3 the weight of lift bars, too.

Exclusive Bushing Design. Steeda's aluminum lower control arms have an exclusive 3-part variable rate bushing design to eliminate suspension bind and vibration while planting your tires to the pavement.

Application. The Steeda aluminum rear lower control arms are designed for bolt-on installation on 1999 to 2004 Mustangs, including the V6, GT, Mach 1, or Bullitt models.

    Very nice upgrade

I've always been a firm believer is Steeda parts . AM did a great job shipping the control arms in a very timely manor! But I did go through a disappointment as I had my GT all apart to install the arms to find out one of the arms had a wrong center sleeve and had to put the car back together. Steeda was more than helpful in getting the correct bushing sleeve to finish the job! I previously ordered some suspension parts from AM and these control arms where a must to complete my rear end set up . AM's Black Friday sale was great as I got a nice discount on my purchase. After installing these arms my GT felt little awkward , but after a bout a week of driving it BAM!! The suspension settled down and my GT started driving GREAT !!! No more side to side tilting , she stays flat on turns, I did a 1st and 2nd gear burnout with zero wheel hop. The arms are so quiet and smooth its shocking. Just make sure all the bushing sleeves are the same size before you install. Yes I recommend this product!

    Steeda = lightweight

Not an easy install when doing it alone and with simple hand tools. Took me a weekend to install (about 8 hours total). The Good: I felt a difference immediately in the stiffness of the rear end. The Control Arms have been quiet with no squeaking. Car felt more controllable in corners. The Bad: the stiffer rear end highlighted the fact that I need new shocks, driveshaft, and better upper control arms.

    Feels great.

I installed this at the same time i did subframe connectors and it feels much better on launch. The quality of the control arms were great and the packaging was as well.

Easy install, almost had to unhook the exhaust but managed to get the bolts undone. My only complaint is that they came in grey ,not the black as shown. Car hooks up better now.

Worth it if you race a lot

I don't feel much of a difference in daily driving from the control arms, but the rear end definitely plants better when drag racing.

    Great Product!!!

Once again Steeda comes through with leaps and bounds! These lower control arms were constructed very well and easy to install! Not to mention the weight reduction in comparison to the stock control arms. The lower control arms combined with steeda's upper control arms gave me the hook to pull the wheels off the ground!

    Great control arms

These lower control arms are a great product. They were easy to install, but I did use a lift to put them on. The steeda arms are much lighter and just a little bit longer than my factory were. Made a difference in handling for sure.

    Very nice product!

I replaced a set of maximum motorsports control arms with these from Steeda. They seem stronger and have a much better bushing set up. As usual Steeda makes a better product. I guess you get what you pay for.

    The Best, I agree

In conjunction with Steeda's upper control arms, you get yourself a new car. I took me two full days to install the set alone and you need two car jacks but well is worth the effort. No more wheel hop, rigidity but silence, I'm a happy camper.

    Well Worth the Extra Money

These LCAs are much lighter than stock and other competitors' products. The LCAs help the wheels plant to the ground very well. My stang has over 400rwhp, and the Steeda LCAs helped me completely remove wheel hop and give me better traction. It was a pretty simple install, not much skill is needed; just some time. I would definitely buy these again!

Boxed arms and urathane bushings are so beefy! Got rid of all wheel hop and stiffened up the rear without too stiff. easy to put in but a real pain to get out the old axle bushings. Great buy.
