Reduce Body and Chassis Flex. Eliminate power robbing body flex and improve the handling performance of your S550 Mustang with a Steeda Extreme G-Trac K-Member Crossbrace. Steeda engineered their G-Trac Brace to help strengthen the connection between the control arm mounts and the rear portion of the front sub frame for more effective stiffening that doesn't change the suspension geometry during high cornering or chassis loads.

Bolt-on Design. The Steeda Extreme G-Trac Mustang K-Member Brace bolts up using existing factory mounting points with no welding, cutting or extra modifications required for a straight forward bolt-on installation.

Tubular Steel Construction. Made in the USA from tubular 4130 chromoly steel for superior strength, this Steeda Extreme G-Trac K-Member Brace is completed in a classic black wrinkle powder coat finish for long lasting durability and corrosion resistance.

Application. This Steeda Extreme G-Trac K-Member Brace is designed to fit all 2015-2019 Mustangs, including the V6, EcoBoost and GT models and will clear aftermarket long tube headers.

    K-Member Brace

    Installation videos make it look easy. I have a 17 mustang. The holes where you install the bolts are partially blocked by the tabs from the holes that were punched in the frame. Also said there were threads already in the frame, not for me. If everything was perfect like the videos, it would have taken about 20 minutes to install. It took me at least 1 hour to install. I haven’t test drove the car with it mounted on it yet.

    Not compatible with A10

    Transmission hard lines will contact this brace when driving and make an audible racket. tried adjusting the lines but there is not enough room. Had this on my 6 speed15 and it was great, sad it wont work on my new car.

    Finally got it to fit....

    Once I got this part installed the front end felt tighter, however these spacers do not fit inside the frame. They're about 3.5mm to 4.0mm too tall. The way the factory stamped these holes deformed the interior tubing and the spacers do not slide in. Tried a Dremel tool, forget it, you'll be there all day! took these spacers to my fiends machine shop to have them cut approx. 3.5mm to fit. Worked like a charm. When I called Steeda, the customer rep., Brian, played dumb with me and said he never heard of that and I must be the first one to encounter the problem! Really? So I sent pics and a video from CJ Pony parts that showed the same issue. Haven't heard back, just crickets! They need to include shorter spacers to make this a faster install. Oh and that wasn't the first hurdle. The stamping process left the tabs inside the tubing so you first have to break those out by bending back and forth until they snap off. Two tabs on each side. So this is the reason it took all day, plus on jack stands.

    Instant Improvement

    So, to start, I'd like to mention that I ran into an issue installing this part. The issue is a result of Ford's production process and not related to this part at all, so no points/stars are taking off for this review. The rear part of the subframe has punched holes, instead of drilled holes. This left the metal pushed in where the spacer is supposed to be placed. Unlike in installtion videos, my spacers did not slide into place easily. So I spent some time trying to bend the open on the subframe so the spacer could fit. Most of my time was spent doing this. After getting annoyed, I aggresively bent the metal and the spacer fit. After that point, the installation went smoothly. After driving the car, the struggle was worth it. Instant reward for putting this part on. The whole front end feels tight and goes into corners no problem. This is the second part I put on the car myself. The installation is not hard and a good learning session for a new comer.

    Xtreme g trak brace

    I purchased the G Trac and rear subframe connector the G Trac brace took about 20 minutes to install I'd say about the same for the rear subframe connector both pieces took just under an hour it feels much better handles like I'm on Rails around corners really sturdys up the car. The parts showed up in excellent condition very easy installation once cars jacked up it took no time at all I'm a hundred percent happy I purchased the Steeda subframe connector and G Trac

    G Trak K member pleased

    Very simple install, maybe 1 hour of labor on jack stands. Install can be completed with out power tools. Just remember to leave bolts loose before tightening up. I have a 2017 performance pack GT, adding the brace in conjunction with tower braces huge diffence in drivability. Turning into turns much stiffer. I have not experienced any NVH. Good product and was my final piece to my suspension upgraded for now.

    Noticable improvement

    I used my 15' Mystang GT track pack car for auto cross and I just enjoy a firm chassis, this was a noticable improvement, I also put on the steeda jacking rails and irs braces and the whole combo was very nice

    Not for the A10

    Was really hoping to box the front-end in with this and the strut-brace, but the main crossmember is about a dime's width from the A10's hard-lines - and there will be some shifting under acceleration and deceleration. Tried using a stack of fender washers to give some room, but that just would put the lateral stress on the welds and not the tubing, so I had to return it. 5 stars for the quality of the piece, though. Manual users should definitely get this.

    Great addition

    The Steeda K-member brace fit perfect, and really tightened up the front of my car. I accelerate on freeway on-ramps without feeling the front end flex at all. I easily pulled away from a BMW M-3 that thought he could keep up with an American sports car. Next on the list are the Steeda sway bars and billet mounts.

    Instantly feel the difference. Love it.

    This was the 2nd suspension part added to my 15 mustang gt and all I have to say is that wow u can actually feel the difference once getting it out on. Made my front end alot stiffer and helps most on high speeds. Great add on and worth the money.

    Road course ready

    To add to the previous suspension work, eibach sportline springs and hub centric spacers, I eliminated the famous IRS wheel hop with STEEDA rear sub-frame brace. Enjoyed that so much it was only fitting to install the G-Trac K-Member Brace up front, with the adjustable camber bolts up front and then an alignment, this GT is on rails.

    Awesome

    This g-track does what it says, I have a gtpp with a factory strut tower brace, but thought why not go a little more. It took me an hour total time to install and it was straight forward no issues. I do notice the difference. Next up is front and rear seat bars.

    Brace Yourself!

    This Steeda Extreme G-Track K-Member Brace that I purchased at American Muscle does everything that Steeda and American Muscle claims it will do. You will notice the difference in your ride the first time you go into that corner. There was very little tweaking required during install, almost a perfect fit. One of the best upgrades you can do is to install this product.

    Tightens things up

    Installed over the weekend. My subframe didn't have the tabs but did have the nuts installed. One was not square and doubled the installation trying to get the bolt in. Once in torqued everyting down and was ready to drive. Feels much tighter up front now. No additional harshness out of the suspension.
