Improves Handling. Installing a set of Steeda Sport Progressive Springs lower the center of gravity to improve the aerodynamics of your EcoBoost Mustang. The improved stance will reduce squat during acceleration, body roll in the corners and excessive nose-dive under hard braking, while maintaining an exceptional ride quality. These blue powdercoated lowering springs are great for daily driving, street, and even occasional track use S550 Mustang.

Progressive Rate. Using a progressive spring rate, this set of Steeda Sport Springs provides a softer ride when going over bumps and road imperfections, plus enhancing the handling performance for your S550 Mustang. They also improve its overall appearance, by lowering the ride height approximately 1.125" in the front and 1.0" in the rear, it eliminates the ugly "4x4" tire to fender gap, for a more aggressive street stance.

Clears Stock and Aftermarket Wheels & Tires. These lowering springs were engineered to be compatible with your stock size wheels and tires, as well as AmericanMuscle's pre-configured wheel and tire combo kits (specific to your generation), to assure proper clearance with no rubbing issues.

Application. This set of four Steeda Sport Progressive Lowering Springs are specifically designed for use on the 2015-2018 EcoBoost Mustang, including both Fastback and Convertible models. Does not fit GT and V6 Mustangs.

Technical Note. The Springs are not compatible on vehicles equipped with the MagneRide Suspension.

I just bought 20 inch rims and I want to get lowering springs. But my rear tires have 305 on the back. Is there any lowering springs I can get without doing any extras to not make it rub ?

    RoseG

    • We would recommend staying between a 1-1.5" lowering spring kit with the 20" wheels and 305s being on the rear. If you go any lower, you may experience rubbing.

how are these compared for factory, comfort wise? I DD mine and on the highway 2 hours a day, will I notice a difference? If price is not an issue, what would be my best option for lowering but retaining the most comfort?

    KevinA

    • The Steeda Sport Springs will lower the vehicle a little over a inch meaning the shocks and struts will be under a little more stress. With that being said, you will expect the ride to become a bit more firm and hard but these springs ride much smoother and comfortable than other springs or this size.

      So far, so good

No problems. The ride is what I expected. No complaints here. I love the way my car looks, now that it has been lowered.

      Great springs!

Took me about 5 hours to install, with a little help. The outcome visually was fantastic! Ride is a little more harsh, but overall pretty good. Handling is much improved when you push the car, less floatyness for sure. I have no problems clearing anything on the road but you will have to be careful approaching curbs in parking lots. Overall very happy with the progressives.
