How to Install Steeda Billet Aluminum Vertical Links on your Mustang

1.Raise the car. If you are using a jack and jack stands, be sure to properly chock the front tires.
2.Remove the rear tire for easier access to the vertical link.
3.Place a jack underneath the knuckle, where the toe link is attached. This will aid in keeping the knuckle in place, when the vertical link is removed.
4.Remove the bolt, securing the link to the lower control arm.
5.Remove the bolt and nut, securing the link to the knuckle.
6.Using the supplied grease packs, liberally apply grease to the surfaces of the delrin bushings and the washers. Place a washer on each side of the lower, or smaller end of the link. The smaller end of the link attaches to the control arm.
7.Install the link, with the larger diameter end facing up. Insert the tapered bushing spacer into the upper bushing sleeve. The tapered steel sleeve will fit into the knuckle.
8.Start both bolts by hand before tightening.
9.Torque the top bolt to 76 ft-lbs. Torque the lower bolt to 129 ft-lbs.
