Hey, I'm Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I'm taking a closer look at this pre-painted GT style hood scoop fitting all 99-04 GTs, all 99-02 V6s, and all '01 Bullets. This very aggressive hood scoop was initially released on the 35th anniversary 1999 Mustang GT, and then later became a factory option on all 01-04 GTs. The scoop itself is constructed from ultra-durable ABS plastic, and since it's painted right here at AmericanMuscle headquarters, it's always in stock, ready to be shipped the same day as you order. Included in the package you'll find the hood scoop itself with the 3M tape already installed, the honeycomb insert, all of your installation hardware, detailed instructions, and finally, the drilling template. If your GT came with a scoop, then this new unit will install using the factory location. However, if your GT did not come with the scoop, or if you have a V6, then you will have to drill into your hood, so just make sure to take your time, and get it right the first time. With all that said, getting this new scoop installed should take you about an hour, depending on your situation. As I mentioned earlier, this hood scoop was originally found on the 35th anniversary Mustang GT. Well, if you really wanted to nail the look of that particular car, then you should check out the matte black hood decal which is has been designed to perfectly match that 35th anniversary style. So if you're looking to add just a little bit more muscle to your factory V6 or GT hood, or you just want to replace an existing scoop, then you'll want to check out one of these pre-painted options, right here at AmericanMuscle.com.
