Description

The USA Standard Gear 8.8-Inch Open Differential Standard Spider Gear Set, 31-Spline, is designed to replace worn or damaged spider gears in Ford 8.8-inch rear-end open differentials with 31 spline axles and a 7/8-inch cross pin shaft. This gear set restores proper differential operation, helping to ensure correct torque distribution between the wheels for stable handling and improved drivetrain performance. It is an essential component for maintaining the function and reliability of the differential assembly in compatible vehicles.
Construction and Appearance. The gear set components are manufactured to provide precise fitment and smooth meshing within the differential assembly. The parts come ready for OEM-style replacement without requiring alterations or modifications.
