    Lower Temps = Better Performance. If you’ve ever taken your supercharged Pony on a road trip and got stuck in bumper to bumper traffic, you may know all too well about the possibility of overheating. The heat exchangers generally used don’t cool the charge air as best as they should. Upgrading to this VMP Triple Pass – Dual Fan unit will greatly decrease heat soak and will eliminate any worries of overheating. Twin 11” fans and triple pass technology will keep your Supercharged Mustang running cool and give a nice bump in performance due to lower intake air temps.

    Quality Construction. Crafted with dual 11” Spal fans designed to keep air moving constantly, this Heat Exchanger features triple pass technology, where the water makes 3 passes through the core, keeping temperatures extremely low. With the largest core feasibly fitting under the factory bumper, this 13” tall by 3” thick furnace brazed core gets the job done and done well. Complete with sealed plug and play connections and mounting hardware, your Mustang will be breathing cool air at all speeds before you know it.

    Bolt-On Installation. This Triple Pass – Dual Fan Heat Exchanger by VMP Performance is designed to be a bolt-on installation anyone can tackle. Some trimming or moving of engine components may be required, dependent upon your specific application.

    Application. Specifically designed for use with positive-displacement supercharged engines, this VMP Triple Pass – Dual Fan Heat Exchanger will work with 2007-2014 Shelby GT500s, 2011-2017 5.0L GT and BOSS and 2005-2010 4.6L GT Mustangs. Please select your application from the ordering options above.

    Application Note. Compatible superchargers include Whipple, Kenne Bell, Roush, Magnuson and Edelbrock. Can also be used with air-water intercoolers on Vortech centrifugal superchargers. This product will not ship to addresses in California due to state regulations. Additionally, support will not be provided for tuning for California residents.

    • Hello! The VMP Gen II Supercharger kits already have the VMP Triple Pass - Dual Fan Heat Exchanger included with them. So they will work on VMP Superchargers.

    I have the JLT brake cooling ducts running from lower grill bezels to my rotors. Will this interfere in any way?

    • Hello! Depending on the year and exact location of those ducts the VMP Triple Pass - Dual Fan Heat Exchanger may interfere with those ducts.

    It looks like the HE sits really close to the bumper frame. My current water pump is mounted to the inside rail of the bumper frame per Roush’s install instructions. Is there a recommended location to relocate the pump, or will there be clearance to leave the pump where it is? 1 answer

      VMP Dual Fan Tripple Pass

      Quality piece of art that gets hidden behind our bumpers!! I have a Roush Stage 3 supercharger kit on my 13 GT and Roush fell way short on the tiny heat exchanger that comes with the kit. The VMP heat exchanger is a MUST HAVE for the Roush kit and any other supercharger set up. Keeps heat soak at bay, and the fans suck a TON of air in through your lower grill and through the heat exchanger keeping Inlet air temps much lower on the 80-90 degree days. It’s well worth the money and is the best purchase I have made for my car (well after the stage 3 blower kit anyways). Trust me it’s worth every penny and AM got it to me in a few days after purchase!!

      VMP nailed this one!!

      Ordered this do to my car pulling massive timing as I live in Florida and temps here are insane for our cars. Not to mention I’m running 21psi on my Kenne Bell. I was recording temps around 180 to 190 with stock air to water cooler. Installed the VMP it was really quick and so simple my wife could have installed it :) I’m seeing temps around 80 to 85 now!!! Cannot wait till summer to see what this thing can do! Highly recommended over competitors.

      Changed factory kb intercooler out

      Went from factory kB intercooler with no fans to this model on a 2016. Noticed 15 degree drop in iat temp. Car doesn’t pull timing anymore due to heatsoak. A definite upgrade must have to make big power

      VMP heat exchanger questions

      Great product. Fit was perfect. The wire harness makes this easy to install. All of the temperatures have gone down. The inter cooler water stays at room temperature. I would highly recommend this product

      This heat exchanger was very easy to install my frt bumper was off for repairs which also helped. The quality on the welds look awesome it mounted to existing holes with supplied bushings , has plenty of clearance around the dual fan shrouds ,, wiring came complete and was plug an play . Only negative would be the unit has less ground clearance .

      Very nice!!!

      Great heat exchanger, it keeps a great amount of airflow going through it with powerful fans. I've put my hand on it in 90 degree temps and still a cool feel. All of these exchangers are a little pricey but worth it. Not a bad install but I had to cut a lot of my inner air intake plastic on the lower bumper.
