Computer Re-Tuning Not Required. Using this Open Element Cold Air Intake does not require re-tuning your vehicle’s ECU. The factory tune will do the job and let this intake upgrade operate for your engine’s optimum performance.
Performance Air Filter. The oiled, cleanable air filter included in this Cold Air Intake kit allows your engine to breathe freely without sucking the unwanted dust and debris into your engine. This blue, oiled cotton filter features the tacky oil that helps capture even the tiniest particles. The massive configuration also facilitates a higher volume of air with an intensified velocity to get into the system for a more efficient, power-generating combustion.
Tough and Reliable Components. This Open Element Air Intake is built to withstand high heat stress and various mechanical impacts with its durable black cross-linked polyethylene construction. The tough heat shield enhances the cooler air inflow while keeping the hotter surrounding air from getting into the system.
