      • Clean Professional Styling
      • Polyurethane Construction
      • Ships Unpainted, Some Prep Required
      • Fits 2005 to 2009 V6 Mustangs w/ Dual Exhaust

Clean Professional Styling. Most people just cut a hole in the factory rear bumper cover after converting to a dual exhaust system, which looks horrible and is not going to win any car shows. But a 3dCarbon Rear Valance Skirt will give your Pony a clean finished appearance that will have people guessing if you made any changes at all.

Polyurethane Construction. The 3dCarbon V6 Rear Valance Skirt is manufactured to higher than OEM specifications from high-pressure injected molded polyurethane material for its flexibility, durability, and for a perfect fit.

Straight Forward Install. The 3dCarbon valance attaches directly to the factory V6 bumper via screws in the wheel wells and 3M automotive grade bonding tape around the perimeter. Installation will require trimming a hole for the driver side exhaust tip in the stock rear bumper before installing the 3dCarbon Rear Valance Skirt.

Application. This 3dCarbon Rear Valance Skirt is designed for use on the 2005 to 2009 V6 Mustangs that have been converted to a dual exhaust system.

Technical Note: AmericanMuscle recommends professional installation of all body parts. We also recommended test fitting these products before they are painted.

        3 2005 V6 - KyleM Installation Time: Afternoon

Somewhat tricky to figure out but do-able

The instructions that this comes with are vague, so you'll have to find ways to secure the valance yourself. I used screws that were much longer than the ones provided to drill into the outside of the bumper and secure in that fashion. It is very difficult to put this on without the assistance of another person, so be careful or else you will accidentally misalign it like I did, and it'll be hard to try and get the adhesive off. I did not use the metal brackets it came with, mostly because I couldn't figure out where they went.

        5 2006 V6 - RobertR Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        NICE !

I had a regular exhaust with one pipe. I wanted a dual exhaust with the 2 pipes. It added 30 more hp to my car and is very well made. It cost less than $200 to have it installed. Very pleased with this exhaust.

        3 2006 V6 - Joe Installation Time: Shop Install Installation Cost: $500-$1000

Received it and sent it back

I received this bumper valance to add to my bumper so I could have the dual exhaust installed. I went around to a few body shops, showed them what I needed and the cost was outrageous. It would have cost total over $800 and it still would not have been a once piece full bumper. Sent it back and AM had no problem giving a refund. Picked up the GT500/CS Rear Bumper Cover w/ Diffuser. Cost of bumper, paint and install was a little less than that and it's a full one piece bumper.

        3 2005 V6 - Nemm

Looks good, but not worth the risk IMO

If I could go back, I think I would just save up a little more and buy a whole new bumper. I used this with the MAC Dual Exhaust Conversion Kit (05-10 V6) which has 4' tips. The gaps on this valance are 4'. Theyre are kind of cone shaped though, so i was able to cut away some extra to give myself about 1/4 clearance around the tips. Very paranoid about it melting on me because the polyurethane its made out of isnt very high density, and its very floppy. You could probably push the whole thing flat without it cracking/snapping, it would just bend. The installation itself went okay. the guide given is somewhat vague. You kinda just have to hook it into your wheel wells and adjust it until its snug against your bumper, and flush against the bottom of your license plate space. Had to have help to put it on cause it was so floppy. As long as it doesn't melt, I'm not going to replace it or anything, but I wish I had've gone with a whole new bumper.

        Nice Finish to Dual Exhaust

After installing a dual exhaust kit on my wife's 2008 V6, I purchased this rear valance to finish off the look. Took it to my local body shop and had it painted 2 tone. Installation was very simple. Looks like a completely different car from the back now. It also made the sound of my new dual exhaust system much deeper. I am totally pleased with this product and would highly recommend it.

        Good product for the money

The valance works well to cover up the hole cut in the drivers side lower bumper. 4" tips barely fit inside the exit holes in the valance. Take your time and have a buddy help with installation and all will be fine.

This product gives it the finishing aggressive look !

Looks great! It makes your Mustang stand out from the rest. In person it just looks awesome. It does make the back of your Mustang look a bit bulkier and dropped which in the end gives it the aggressive awesome stance you're looking for. I definitely recommend this product, you won't regret it whatsoever.

        Rear valance better than cutting

This is a good way to hide the cut in the rear bumper cover of a V6 when installing a dual exhaust! Need to have good quality paint job done because of the flexible material this valance is made of. Shipped directly from manufaturer and had to lay the valance in the sun to get it back into shape, box was a bit small and deformed the part in transit.

What is the unpainted color of this item? I have a V6 Mustang that has the stock unpainted side skirts that are a dark grey. I would like to know if this item has a similar hue when unpainted. Thanks.

      • No it is off white. I have a lime green mustang and will have the part painted black

would this fit a GT? i love my GT but the rear bumper is kinda plain looking, i was wondering if this part would fit a GT, or is it just for a V6? i think it's a more affordable alternative to the GT500/CS rear bumper

      • I'm not sure but I have to say NO. I believe the lower lip on the GTs bumper would not align with the valance. I could be wrong but I know the exhaust tip holes also protrude outward and may not let the valance tip holes align correctly.

For the metal brackets that come with this, I noticed there are no holes in them for screws, and the instructions are quite vague and don't really explain where they go. Could I get a little more clarification of their purpose?

      • The 4 supplied brackets are intended to secure the rear lower to the factory rear bumper. For further explanation we do have an install guide with pictures for review here;

      is it hard to install?

      • The 3dCarbon valance attaches directly to the factory V6 bumper via screws in the wheel wells and 3M automotive grade bonding tape around the perimeter. Installation will require trimming a hole for the driver side exhaust tip in the stock rear bumper before installing the 3dCarbon Rear Valance Skirt. Can this be ordered painted

      • Unfortunately this item is currently only offered unpainted at this time. We recommend having a shop prep and paint the rear valance.
