      Description

Advanced Fuel Pump Control. The Aeromotive ReturnX Single Pump Control System for Naturally Aspirated Engines offers stand-alone speed control for brushed fuel pumps through MAP sensor input, optimizing fuel delivery according to engine demand. It significantly reduces pump power consumption at idle and cruise, minimizing heat generation and extending pump lifespan, which is crucial for high-performance automotive applications prone to vapor lock.

Construction and Appearance. Constructed with cross-linked polyethylene wiring and UL94-rated components, the controller features OEM Delphi/Aptiv terminals and connector bodies, ensuring high-quality, durable connections. The compact package measures 4”L x 2.1”W x 1-5/8”H, designed to withstand automotive conditions with robust thermal shutdown and short circuit protection integrated for safe operation.

Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required; the unit integrates seamlessly with existing electrical systems and manifolds via the supplied MAP sensor hose. It eliminates the need for relays or switches, simplifying wiring with a leader/follower pump control design for smooth pump speed transitions.

Warranty. This control system is backed by a one-year warranty from the date of purchase with proof of ownership.

Application. Designed for universal use, adaptable for naturally aspirated and supercharged engines; appropriate pump speed ramp rates require choosing the correct version to ensure safe fuel delivery and avoid lean conditions. A return/bypass type fuel pressure regulator is necessary for proper system function.
